John Gibson will start Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh.

Gibson returned from an upper-body injury on Sunday and saved 30 of 32 shots en route to defeating the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2, their first regulation loss of the season. The Ducks were mostly rotating starts between Gibson and Lukas Dostal but will reward Gibson with his first consecutive start of the season after his mighty performance on Sunday. The Ducks are +170 home underdogs against a Pittsburgh Penguins team that has lost five of their last seven games (2-5-0). On October 30th, Gibson saved six of seven shots against the Penguins before exiting the game with an injury, a game that the Ducks ultimately won 4-3.

John Gibson
Mackenzie Blackwood will start Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

Blackwood will start on Tuesday and attempt to stop the bleeding for the Sharks, who have been dreadfully outscored 20-3 over their past two contests (0-2-0). Putting it lightly, the Sharks have been abysmal this season, ranking dead last offensively (1.09 GF / GP) and defensively (4.91 GA / GP). Given the team's horrendous start, Blackwood's .879 SV% through eight games (0-6-1) is somewhat admirable, but until the Sharks prove they can compete with other teams, there is very little optimism for whichever goaltender mans their crease.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Jack Campbell has been placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment.

After 41 unimpressive games with the Oilers over the past two seasons, posting a 3.53 GAA and .886 SV%, the team has placed Campbell on waivers for assignment. The Oilers, who were largely considered to be Stanley Cup contenders to start the season, are off to a dreadful start, winning only two of their first 11 games (2-8-1). The Oilers will likely recall Calvin Pickard from Bakersfield (AHL) once Campbell clears waivers and will turn to Stuart Skinner for starting duties in the interim.

Joey Daccord was the first goalie off the ice at Seattle's morning skate.

After watching Philipp Grubauer start the previous three games, Daccord will likely return the starter's crease for the Kraken on Tuesday. Daccord has been more than serviceable when called upon this season, posting a 2.88 GAA and .912 SV% in five games (2-1-2). The Kraken are slight -106 road favourites against an Arizona Coyotes team that has lost four of their last six (2-3-1). After losing their first four games (0-3-1), the Kraken have slowly begun to right the ship, registering points in five of their last eight (4-3-1).

Joey Daccord
Sean Couturier (lower body) will draw back into the Flyers' lineup Tuesday vs. San Jose.

Couturier will return to the Flyers lineup after missing the last two games with a lower-body injury. He is expected to re-assume his role on the top line and top powerplay as Morgan Frost will serve as a healthy scratch. Couturier has eight points (2G / 6A) while averaging 19:32 time-on-ice through 10 games.

Sean Couturier
Morgan Frost will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. San Jose.

Frost has been in and out of the lineup all season as a healthy scratch and will once again watch the game from the press box as Sean Couturier returns from a lower-body injury. Through six games, Frost has zero points, eight shots, and six hits while averaging 15:37 time-on-ice.

Morgan Frost
Samuel Ersson will start Tuesday vs. San Jose.

With Carter Hart still out of the lineup and Cal Petersen having a poor performance in his Flyers debut on Saturday, Ersson will man the crease on Tuesday. Ersson's dreadful 3.90 GAA and .815 SV% don't inspire much confidence, but a matchup against the bottom-dwelling San Jose Sharks could be exactly what is needed to turn his season around. The Flyers, who will welcome Sean Couturier back into the lineup, are -186 road favourites against a Sharks team that has been outscored 20-3 in their past two contests.

Samuel Ersson
Vitek Vanecek was in the starter's crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

Vanecek has seemingly secured the Devils' starting gig as he appears to be the starter for the fifth time in their last six games. Vanecek has been far from perfect but has done enough to give the high-scoring Devils (3.91 GF / GP) a chance to win on most nights, posting a 3.05 GAA and .900 SV% through eight games (6-2-0). The Devils, without Jack Hughes, are +160 road underdogs against the Colorado Avalanche, who will be desperate for a victory after being shut out in three of their last four contests (1-3-0).

Vitek Vanecek
Juuse Saros is in the starter's crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

Saros appears to be the starter on Tuesday after serving as the backup to Kevin Lankinen in two of the Predators' last three games. In his most recent contest, Saros allowed four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken. Despite a subpar 5-6-0 record, the Predators rank top-ten in the league defensively, allowing an average of only 2.91 goals per game, which bodes well as they take on the Calgary Flames, who rank fifth-worst offensively (2.55 GF / GP).

Juuse Saros
Adam Ruzicka (shoulder) will return to the Flames lineup Tuesday vs. Nashville.

After returning to practice on Monday, Ruzicka participated in the morning skate on Tuesday and will return to the lineup for the Flames' matchup against the Nashville Predators. The 24-year-old Slovak missed the last four games due to his injury but was off to a solid start this season, recording four points (2G / 2A) in seven games. He is expected to skate on a line with A.J. Greer and Walker Duehr.

Adam Ruzicka
Ondrej Pavel is expected to make his NHL debut Tuesday vs. New Jersey.

Pavel will make his NHL debut on Tuesday, skating on a line with Andrew Cogliano and Tomas Tatar. The undrafted Czech centericeman was signed by the Avalanche last year, directly out of Minnesota State University. He has been held pointless in 10 games with the Eagles (AHL) this season.

Ondrej Pavel
Alexandar Georgiev is expected to start Tuesday vs. New Jersey.

Georgiev will look to rebound after allowing a season-worst seven goals on 34 shots in a 7-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday. Georgiev started the season by saving 109 of 113 shots (.965 SV%) in his first four outings (4-0-0) but has since fallen off a cliff, allowing 22 goals on 145 shots (.848 SV%) in his five games since (2-3-0). The Avalanche have been shut out in three of their last four games (1-3-0) but are still -178 home favourites against a New Jersey Devils team that is expected to be without both of their top two centermen, Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier.

Alexandar Georgiev
Connor Hellebuyck is in the starter's crease Tuesday at morning skate.

Hellebuyck will likely get his fourth consecutive start on Tuesday as the Winnipeg Jets are -137 road favourites against the St. Louis Blues. Hellebuyck is coming off a 22-save performance in which he allowed three goals in a 5-3 victory over the Arizona Coyotes. However, he has not been the dominant goalkeeper the league has become accustomed to over the years, posting a 3.08 GAA and .890 SV% through nine games (5-3-1) and has recorded a sub- .900 SV% in each of his last three outings (1-1-1). That said, he will look to regain his form against the low-scoring Blues, who rank 29th in the league offensively (2.40 GF / GP).

Connor Hellebuyck
Lukas Rousek will draw back into the Sabres' lineup Tuesday vs. Carolina.

Rousek will play his second game of the season after recording a -2 plus/minus, one shot, and one hit through 13:57 time-on-ice in his debut on November 3rd. The Czech winger is expected to skate on the third line alongside Peyton Krebs and Victor Olofsson.

Lukas Rousek
Jacob Markstrom will start Tuesday vs. Nashville.

Markstrom will start Tuesday against the Nashville Predators as the struggling Flames will be desperate to win consecutive games for the first time this season. The Flames' poor start to the season (3-7-1) has been highly scrutinized as the team ranks bottom-five in the league offensively (2.55 GF / GP) and defensively (3.64 GA / GP). Markstrom has a 3.03 GAA and .897 SV% and has lost seven consecutive games (0-6-1). That said, the Flames are listed as rare favourites (-131) at home against the Predators.

Jacob Markstrom
Robby Fabbri (lower body) has officially been activated from the injured reserve and will play Tuesday.

The Red Wings received positive news on Tuesday as Robby Fabbri was activated from the injured reserve and will make his return to the Red Wings lineup on Tuesday against the New York Rangers. Fabbri, who has dealt with injuries his entire career, was injured in the Red Wings' first game of the season but still managed to score one point (1G / 0A) in 14:44 time-on-ice. He will likely skate on the third line alongside Joe Veleno and Daniel Sprong.

Robby Fabbri
Jordan Binnington will start Tuesday vs. Winnipeg.

Binnington will return to the Blues' crease on Tuesday after serving as the backup to Joel Hofer in the team's most recent contest on Saturday, a 6-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Binnington has been unpredictable when called upon this season but has shown more good than bad, sporting a 2.38 GAA and .924 SV% in seven contests (3-1-1). The Blues have struggled to provide Binnington with goal support all season (2.40 GF / GP) but are coming off a season-best six-goal performance that they will hope to carry into their matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, who are -138 road favourites.
