Manson (undisclosed) is not on the ice for warmups.

Manson was a game-time decision on Monday due to an undisclosed injury. Manson has been an effective contributor over the last couple of weeks with five points (3G / 2A), 18 shots on goal, and 24 hits in his last seven games. Sam Malinski will draw into the lineup in his place.

The Ducks acquired Cutter Gauthier from the Flyers on Monday in exchange for defenseman Jamie Drysdale and a 2025 second-round draft pick.

It was a shocking, blockbuster trade between the Flyers and Ducks on Monday, as Philadelphia opted to move on from their fifth-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for the sixth-overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Jamie Drysdale, and a second-round draft pick. While Drysdale already has parts of four NHL seasons under his belt, Gauthier is still playing with Boston College in the NCAA, where he's racked up 13 goals and ten assists in 17 games this season.

The Flyers acquired Drysdale and a 2025 second-round draft pick from the Ducks on Monday in exchange for left winger Cutter Gauthier.

It's a shocking move considering Anaheim selected Drysdale sixth overall just three and a half years ago in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Drysdale had played ten games with the Ducks this season, scoring one goal and adding four assists and was recently promoted to the team's top power-play unit. In exchange, the Ducks acquire the fifth-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Cutter Gauthier.

Shesterkin will start against the Canucks on Monday.

Shesterkin had the night off on Saturday, a 4-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens, but will return to the crease on Monday night against the high-flying Vancouver Canucks. Shesterkin has been inconsistent this season, highlighted by a recent stretch where he has impressively allowed two or fewer goals in five of his last eight games (6-2-0) but allowed six in two, settling for a .907 SV%. The Rangers are 6-3-1 in their last 10 and are -148 home favourites against a Canucks squad that has scored six or more goals in three of their last five games (3-2-0).

Lauko will be a healthy scratch Monday vs. Colorado.

John Beecher is expected to draw back into the lineup on Monday, prompting the Bruins to make Lauko a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Lauko is averaging 9:25 time-on-ice and has three points and 48 hits through 28 games this season.

Jakub Lauko
Beecher will draw back into the Bruins' lineup Monday vs. Colorado.

Jakub Lauko will be a healthy scratch on Monday, allowing Beecher to re-enter the lineup for the Bruins. Beecher has six points (4G / 2A) in 35 games this season and is expected to play on the fourth line with Jesper Boqvist and Oskar Steen.

John Beecher
Swayman was the first goalie off the ice at Boston's morning skate.

Swayman will likely return to the crease on Monday in a matchup against the Colorado Avalanche. The 25-year-old Swayman has allowed five or more goals in two of his last four starts (2-2-0), posting a .879 SV%, well below the .933 SV% he was sporting leading up to that point this season. The Bruins have won five of their last six (5-1-0) but are +109 road underdogs in a battle against the Colorado Avalanche, who are coming off a disappointing 8-4 loss to the Florida Panthers on Saturday but have points in seven of their last eight (6-1-1).

Jeremy Swayman
Calgary has waived Kevin Rooney (shoulder) on Monday after he was activated from the Injured Reserve.

Rooney had an assist, 14 SOG, seven PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 17 games played with Calgary in 2022-23 but has been forced to miss all of the 2023-24 season thus far as he remains out of the lineup from off-season shoulder surgery.

Kevin Rooney
Jones will start Tuesday vs. San Jose.

Jones has become the de facto starting goalie for the Maple Leafs, with a struggling Ilya Samsonov in the minors and Joseph Woll recovering from a lower-body injury, and will start for the fifth straight game on Tuesday. Since taking the reigns between the pipes for the Maple Leafs, Jones has been sensational, highlighted by a three-game winning streak where he has allowed one or fewer goals in each contest, posting an outstanding .976 SV%. Jones and the Maple Leafs have a favourable matchup on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks, whom they defeated 4-1 in their previous outing, thanks in part to a 23-save performance from Jones (.958 SV%).

Martin Jones
Wood (illness) is questionable to play Monday vs. Boston and will be a game-time decision.

Wood did not play on Saturday and will be a game-time decision on Monday as he battles an illness. Wood was very effective in a top-six role in his last outing, scoring one point (0G / 1A) and firing three shots on goal in 15:31 time-on-ice.

Miles Wood
Murray will start Monday vs. Minnesota.

After playing in 12 straight games, and struggling lately, Scott Wedgewood will finally get a night off on Monday as Murray will tend the twice for the Stars in his first game of the season. Murray has been with the team since mid-December when Jake Oettinger suffered a lower-body injury. The undrafted 25-year-old Murray has a 2.86 GAA and .908 SV% in 13 games (8-4-1) with the Texas Stars this season. The Stars have lost three straight (0-2-1), being outscored 13-10, but are -127 road favourites against a Minnesota Wild club without their leading scorer, Kirill Kaprizov.

Matthew Murray
Lehkonen (upper body) shed his non-contact jersey in practice Monday.

Lehkonen participated in his first full practice on Monday after several weeks of wearing a non-contact jersey. Before his injury, Lehkonen had eight points (3G / 5A) in 12 games, averaging 18:30 time-on-ice, playing predominantly alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen, including top powerplay deployment. Valeri Nischushkin has been the main benefactor, occupying Lehkonen's offensive deployment, scoring 32 points (18G / 14A) in 26 games since.
