The 25-year-old has had a season to forget in 2023-24 after breaking out last year, with his current 16-13-3 record, 3.23 GAA and .896 SV%. He will face the Carolina Hurricanes at home on Tuesday, who have lost their last two games but are still a force offensively as they rank seventh in the NHL in shots per game (32.7).

Vasilevskiy took a seat after seven straight starts for Tampa Bay's previous game vs. New Jersey but will return to the crease on Tuesday in Pennsylvania. The 29-year-old is having the worst statistical season of his historic 10-year career, with his 20-14-0 record, 2.95 GAA and .897 SV%. Brossoit is expected to take the crease Tuesday for the first time in three games after he was spotted in the starter's crease at the morning skate. He will host the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, who are coming off an ugly 6-1 loss to Detroit on Saturday and have dropped four of their last five contests.

Lyon returns to Detroit's crease on Tuesday vs. Washington after backing up in the second half of a back-to-back on Sunday. Ersson will return to the Flyers' crease on Thursday vs. Tampa Bay after giving Cal Petersen the start in an ugly 7-6 loss over the weekend.
