Igor Shesterkin will start Thursday vs. the New Jersey Devils.

Shesterking stopped 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%) for his seventh win in eight games as he beat the Columbus Blue Jackets easily in his previous start. The 27-year-old netminder will not be repeating his Vezina Trophy win from last season, but has still been incredibly solid as shown by his 34-12-7 record, 2.54 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the New Jersey Devils, who have lost three of their last four games but are fifth in the NHL in shots per game (34.5).

Fabbri has not played since March 8th due to a lower-body injury and will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season as it takes 4-6 weeks to recover from his injury. It is yet another season cut short by injuries for the 27-year-old, who had seven goals, nine assists, 35 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 28 games played prior to the injury.

Edvinsson has a goal, four SOG, six PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through three games played and was a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh but will draw back into the lineup Thursday vs. Carolina. The 20-year-old will replace Gustav Lindstrom in the Wings' lineup.

Sorokin stopped 30 of 31 shots (.968 SV%) for his fourth win in five games as he beat the New Jersey Devils in his last start. The 27-year-old has been sensational this season, proven by his .924 SV%, 2.39 GAA and 27-19-7 record. He takes on the Washington Capitals, who have lost three of their last four games after a 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh last game.

Raanta last played on March 7th, where he only lasted a period before heading off due to a lower-body injury.
