The 28-year-old has found his way in and out of the Blackhawks' lineup consistently this season due to healthy scratches and injuries.

Binnington will start Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Binnington allowed two goals on 14 shots (.857 SV%) in a relief loss in his last game as he took the defeat to the Los Angeles Kings his last time out. The 29-year-old has been horrendous this season, with his 23-25-5 record, 3.38 GAA and .892 SV%. He will take on the Vancouver Canucks, who have won three straight games and five of their last six.

Markstrom will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 31 shots (.903 SV%) to snap a three-game losing streak as he beat the San Jose Sharks in his last start. The 33-year-old has had a year to forget this season, with his 20-20-10 record, 2.98 GAA and .890 SV%. He takes on the red-hot Los Angeles Kings, who have won 10 of their last 12 games and are fifth in the NHL in goals per game (3.45).

Petry has been out for the Penguins' previous five games due to an upper-body injury but will be a game-time decision Tuesday vs. Detroit. The 35-year-old veteran defender has five goals, 21 assists, 100 SOG, 20 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 52 games played this season prior to his injury.

The 31-year-old Penguins' backup has been fairly average all season, with his 14-15-4 record, 3.11 GAA and .907 SV%. He will face the Detroit Red WIngs, who have lost five of their last six games and are 24th in the NHL in goals (2.86).

Vasilevskiy will likely start Tuesday in Carolina.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 34 shots (.941 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was downed by the Boston Bruins his last time between the pipes. The 28-year-old has been solid yet again this season, but will not lead the NHL in wins for a sixth-straight year as he has a 31-20-4 record, 2.69 GAA and .914 SV%. He will take on the Carolina Hurricanes, who have won three of their last five games and are third in the NHL in shots per game (34.8).

The Predators have recalled Michael McCarron from Milwaukee (AHL).

McCarron had two goals, four assists, 28 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 16 games with Milwaukee (AHL) and has been recalled to Nashville Tuesday. The 28-year-old bruising winger returns to the Predators, where he has a goal, two points, 24 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 22 games played this season.

The Blackhawks have recalled Alex Vlasic from Rockford (AHL).

Vlasic had two goals, 15 assists, 25 PIMs and a +11 plus/minus through 52 games played with the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) and has been recalled to Chicago for the first time this season. The 21-year-old had a 15-game showing with the Blackhawks last season, picking up a goal and an assist with two PIMS and a -2 plus/minus.

Taro Hirose was recalled from the AHL on Tuesday morning and will replace him in the Wings' lineup. Zadina (lower-body) will not play Tuesday; could miss the rest of the regular season.

Zadina left the Red Wings' previous game after 11:59 TOI due to a lower-body injury and will not play Tuesday and is at risk to miss the remainder of the regular season. The 23-year-old had three goals, four assists, 51 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 30 games played prior to the injury.
