Comrie is in the starter's crease at the Sabres morning skate.

Comrie allowed three goals on 36 shots (.917 SV%) for his fourth-straight win as he beat Tampa Bay in his previous start. The 27-year-old Sabres' third netminder has struggled in his limited showings this season, with his 8-8-0 record, 3.56 GAA and .885 SV%. He will face the Dallas Stars, who snapped a three-game winning streak with a 5-4 loss to Calgary in their last game.

Eric Comrie
Montembeault will start Thursday vs. the Rangers.

Montembeault allowed three goals on 33 shots (.909 SV%) for his second-straight loss as Anaheim defeated him in his previous start. The 26-year-old Canadiens' backup has been their better of the two goalies, even though he has a 12-13-2 record and 3.30 GAA and .905 SV% stat line. He takes on the struggling New York Rangers, who have lost six of their last eight games after a 4-2 loss to Boston last game.

Sam Montembeault
Hill is questionable for Thursday's game due to a lower-body injury.

Hill missed Wednesday's practice with a lower-body injury and he's not expected to be available for Thursday's game. With Hill likely to be out, look for Jonathan Quick to start and Jiri Patera to be recalled from Henderson (AHL) to serve as the backup.

Adin Hill
The Hurricanes recalled Pyotr Kochetkov from Charlotte (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Antti Raanta suffered an undisclosed injury in Tuesday's game in Montreal, so Kochetkov comes up to serve as the Hurricanes' No.2 netminder behind Frederik Andersen. WIth a back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday, there's a good chance that Kochetkov seems some action.

Pyotr Kochetkov
Thatcher Demko will start Wednesday vs. Anaheim.

Demko stopped 36 of 37 shots (.973 SV%) for his second win in three games since returning from injury as he beat the Toronto Maple Leafs in his previous start. The 27-year-old has struggled in an injury-riddled campaign, posting a 5-11-2 record, 3.66 GAA, and .893 SV%. He takes on the Anaheim Ducks, who have won four of their last six games but are 31st in the NHL in goals per game (2.51).

Pierre-Luc Dubois will not return to the Jets' lineup after being a game-time decision (lower body).

Dubois returned for the first time in three games in Winnipeg's last contest but will not play Wednesday vs. Minnesota as he deals with a lower-body injury. The 24-year-old has 24 goals, 31 assists, 169 SOG, and 71 PIMs through 61 games played prior to the injury.

Pierre-Luc Dubois
Tony DeAngelo has been suspended for two games for spearing Tampa Bay's Corey Perry.

DeAngelo was handed 15 PIMs for spearing Corey Perry in the Flyers' game Tuesday night and has now been suspended for two games for the infraction. The 27-year-old defenseman has 10 goals, 24 assists, 144 SOG, 67 PIMs and a -28 plus/minus through 59 games this season.

Tony DeAngelo
Cam Talbot will be out for three weeks with a mid-body injury.

Talbot was a late scratch for the Senators' game Monday night and is now expected to miss three weeks due to a "mid-body" injury. The 35-year-old veteran netminder has struggled at times in his first season in Ottawa, as he has a 15-14-1 record, 2.85 GAA and .905 SV%.

Cam Talbot
Demko was the first goalie off the ice at the Canucks morning skate.
