The 28-year-old netminder is in the midst of an outstanding season with the Canucks, posting a .919 SV% and 2.45 GAA to go along with a league-leading tally of 28 wins. He's a safe bet to stay in the win column on Tuesday, with the Canucks being favoured at -260 to pick up the victory in Chicago over the lowly Blackhawks.

Pesce has missed the last two games due to an illness, and his status remains in the air for Tuesday's matchup against the Dallas Stars. The 29-year-old Pesce isn't flashy on the blueline but provides a steadying defensive presence for the Hurricanes. Through 41 games this season, he was seven points (3G / 4A), 61 shots, and 71 blocks.

Kochetkov will start for the fourth straight game as the Hurricanes attempt to extend their winning streak to three on Tuesday night. Kochetkov is coming off his best performance of the season, a 34-save shutout in a 1-0 overtime victory against the New Jersey Devils. The Hurricanes are slight +103 road underdogs against a Dallas Stars club that has won five of their last six contests (5-1-0).

Saros will start for the fourth straight game on Tuesday and attempt to regain form after performing below his standards lately. In his last three games (1-1-1), Saros has allowed three or more goals in each contest, posting an ugly .876 SV%. The Predators enter Tuesday's contest as -130 home favourites against a New Jersey Devils squad that played last night and snapped a two-game losing skid with a 3-1 win over the Seattle Kraken.

With Vitek Vanecek sidelined due to an illness and a lower-body injury, the Devils will opt against giving Akira Schmid his first start since December 21st, instead turning to Nico Daws for the second time in as many nights. The 23-year-old German netminder was outstanding in last night's game against the Kraken, stopping 27 of the 28 shots he faced enroute to a 2-1 victory. He'll have to outduel Juuse Saros with a tired Devils team in front of him if Daws wants to pick up back-to-back victories on Tuesday.

Yamamoto will be the odd-man out on Tuesday as the Kraken look to get fresh legs into their lineup for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Tye Kartye will draw into the lineup in Yamamoto's place.

Grubauer will be back between the pipes for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury on December 9th against the Lightning. Grubauer still had a weak grip on the Kraken starting job prior to his injury, but Joey Daccord has since taken full control of Seattle's crease. Grubauer lost his previous four starts prior to the injury, and Daccord excelled in his absence, posting a .935 SV% across 22 starts. Grubauer draws a difficult matchup in his return, with the Kraken being +145 underdogs on Long Island.

Rielly received an in-person hearing for his impending suspension, meaning he could have potentially been suspended for six or more games, but the Department of NHL Player Safety has settled on five. Because it is less than a six-game suspension, Rielly's only option to appeal will be directly to Commissioner Gary Bettman. It remains to be seen whether or not the Leafs' defenseman will choose to do so.

Mintyukov has been out of the lineup since January 9th, missing 10 games with a shoulder injury, but appears to be nearing a return. The rookie defender was enjoying an impressive first season in the NHL, registering 19 points (2G / 17A), 56 hits, and 43 blocks in 40 games.

Schultz sat out the last two games but will replace Brian Dumoulin on Tuesday after he picked up a lower-body injury on Monday. Schultz, who will skate with Ryker Evans on the third pairing, has 16 points (4G / 12A) in 42 games this season.

The Ducks will turn to Dostal on Tuesday after John Gibson got the starting nod in each of the team's previous two games. Dostal relieved Gibson in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Oilers after the latter was forced to leave the game with a lower-body injury. Dostal did pick up the win in his last start, allowing just two goals on 37 shots as the Ducks edged the Wild 3-2. He draws a a decent matchup on Tuesday with the Ducks having even odds to pick up the win in Montreal.

Luukkonen will continue his reign over the Sabres' crease on Tuesday night, starting for the ninth time in their last 10 games. Despite being a clear favourite between the pipes, Luukkonen has a sub-.500 record in his last nine contests (4-5-0), due mostly to a lack of goal support as he has allowed three or fewer goals in each contest, posting an excellent .930 SV%.

Rittich will continue his reign over the Kings' crease and start his fourth straight game on Tuesday evening. The Czech netminder is riding a two-game winning streak and is coming off a tremendous performance in his last outing, saving all 26 shots he faced in a 4-0 shutout victory over the typically high-scoring Edmonton Oilers. The Kings are -131 road favourites against a Buffalo Sabres club that has scored only two goals in their last two games (0-2-0).
