The 31-year-old has been horrendous this season, as shown by his 5-15-2 record, 4.00 GAA and .884 SV%. He takes on the surging Ottawa Senators, who have won six of their last seven games after a 3-2 shootout win over the New York Islanders last game.

Brad Hunt has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Hunt had three goals, three assists, 30 SOG, eight PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 29 games played with the Avalanche but will head back to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) Friday. The 34-year-old heads back to the minors where he had six goals, and 20 points in 22 games prior to his call-up.

Ben Meyers has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Meyers has a goal, 23 SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through 29 games with the Colorado Avalanche and has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL) Friday. The 24-year-old had three goals, five assists, and 11 PIMs through his 14 games played with the Eagles.

Otto Koivula has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL).

Koivula failed to pick up a point in his only game of NHL action with the New York Islanders and has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL) Friday. The 24-year-old heads back to the minors where he had 10 goals and 21 points through 42 games prior to his promotion.

Brassard will draw into the Senators lineup on Friday.

Brassard was a healthy scratch for the Senators' previous game but will draw back into the lineup as a replacement for Austin Watson (illness) Friday. The 35-year-old journeyman has eight goals, five assists, 70 SOG, and 22 PIMs through 42 games this season. He is seven games away from reaching his 1000th career game.

Sanderson (upper-body) is expected to be out until late-February.

Sanderson is set to miss his third straight game on Friday, and he's expected to be out until the Senators' back-to-back vs. the Red Wings on February 27th/28th. The 20-year-old has three goals, 21 points and a -3 plus/minus across 51 games in his rookie campaign.

It is Addison's third healthy scratch this season as he looks to improve his defensive zone play.

Gustavsson allowed one goal on 34 shots (.971 SV%) but still took the loss in a hard-fought shootout loss to Florida in his last game. The 24-year-old has been a revelation after being acquired in the offseason for Cam Talbot, with his 12-8-1 record, 2.18 GAA and .926 SV%. He takes on the Dallas Stars, who have lost two straight but have the NHLs ninth best powerplay (23.6).

Sogaard won his first start of the season after stopping 34 of 37 shots (.919 SV%) in a victory over Calgary his last time out. He'll face the Chicago Blackhawks, who have lost three straight games and are not much of an offensive threat as they are currently last in the NHL in goals per game (2.4) and second last in shots (26.7).
