Shesterkin allowed three goals on 29 shots (.897 SV%) for his third win in his last four games as he beat Seattle in his previous start. The 2022 Vezina Trophy winner may not repeat the award this year, but still has an incredibly solid 23-8-7 record, 2.48 GAA and .916 SV%. He will face the Vancouver Canucks, who have lost four of their last five games after a 6-1 loss to Detroit their last time out.

Arturs Silovs will make his NHL debut vs. the New York Rangers on Wednesday.

Silovs was 21-9-4 with a .906 SV% and 2.48 GAA with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) and will make his NHL debut Wednesday as he takes on the New York Rangers. The 21-year-old Latvian was drafted in round 6 (156 overall) of the 2019 NHL entry draft. He draws a tough first matchup in the Rangers, who are in the midst of a five-game winning streak after a 6-2 victory over Carolina last game.

Brett Leason will be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. Buffalo.

Leason has four goals, three assists, 37 SOG, six PIMs and a -19 plus/minus through 43 games played this season but will be a healthy scratch Wednesday as the Ducks take on the Sabres. He will be replaced by Maxime Comtois in the lineup.

Makiniemi has been returned to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) where he has an 8-10-3 record, .900 SV% and 2.96 GAA after being recalled to the Sharks for the second time this season Tuesday. In his previous stint with the Sharks this season, he had a 1-0-1 record, .906 SV%, 2.13 GAA so he will hope to be up with the big club again soon.

Ingram allowed four goals on 44 shots (.909 SV%) as he picked up his fourth-straight loss in a defeat to the Chicago Blackhawks in his last start. The 25-year-old Coyotes' backup has struggled when called upon this season, with his 3-11-3 record, 3.61 GAA and .899 SV%. He draws the tough task of the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have been winners of three-straight after a 4-3 comeback shootout win over Colorado Tuesday.

Anderson has two goals, 11 assists, 60 SOG, 32 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 55 games this season and has earned himself a $33 million, 8-year extension with an annual salary cap hit of $4.125 million. The 23-year-old is now locked in as a King until his 30s.

Addison has three goals, 24 assists, 66 SOG, 20 PIMs and a -18 plus/minus through 52 games this season but will now hit the press box as he is replaced by Alex Goligoski Wednesday vs. Colorado. It is Addison's second healthy scratch this season as he looks to improve his defensive zone play.

This seems to only be a paper move as Studenic is expected to return to Dallas on Friday when the team returns to game action. The 24-year-old has yet to pick up a point in any of his three contests he has appeared in, with a -1 plus/minus and four SOG.

Auston Matthews will return to the Maple Leafs' lineup Wednesday vs. Chicago (knee).

Matthews has missed the Maple Leafs' previous five games due to a knee injury and will return to the lineup Wednesday as the team takes on the Chicago Blackhawks at home. The 2022 Rocket Richard Trophy winner had 25 goals, 53 points, 200 SOG, 16 PIMs and a +19 plus/minus through 47 games played prior to the injury.

Samsonov was perfect in his previous start, stopping all 30 of 30 Columbus shots for his career-high, third shutout of the season. The 25-year-old has enjoyed an incredible first season in Toronto, as shown by his 18-6-2 record, 2.32 GAA and .917 SV%. He takes on the Chicago Blackhawks, who have lost four of their last five games after a 4-0 loss to Montreal in their previous contest.

Meyers had a goal, 23 SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through 29 games with the Colorado Avalanche but has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) Wednesday. The 24-year-old returns to the minors, where he had three goals, five assists, and 11 PIMs through his 14 games played.

The Canucks recalled Arturs Silovs from Abbotsford (AHL).

Silovs has gone 21-9-4 with a 2.48 GAA and .906 SV% in 35 games with Abbotsford (AHL) this season. It's believed that he will serve as Collin Delia's backup on Wednesday, with Spencer Martin heading to the AHL after clearing waivers. Silovs will likely go back to the AHL by the end of the week, making room for Thatcher Demko to return to the Canucks' crease.

Moving him to Abbotsford (AHL) clears the way for Thatcher Demko to return later this week. Arturs Silovs was recalled in a corresponding move, and he's expected to serve as Collin Delia's backup on Wednesday.

Georgiev allowed three goals on 35 shots (.914 SV%) for his second loss in three starts as he was down by Tampa Bay last night in a shootout. The 27-year-old has held down Colorado's starting job admirably in his first season with the team, with his 21-12-4 record, 2.68 GAA and .917 SV%. He takes on the Minnesota Wild, who have lost four of their last five games after a 2-1 loss to Florida last game.
