Boqvist missed the Blue Jackets' previous two games due to an upper-body injury and will return to Columbus' lineup Friday vs. Toronto. The 22-year-old who scored double-digit goals last season (11 G) has 10 assists, 25 SOG, and a -4 plus/minus through 19 games this season prior to the injury.

Blankenburg missed the Blue Jackets' previous three games due to an upper-body injury but will return to Columbus' lineup Friday as they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 24-year-old has three goals, four assists, 24 SOG, and a -6 plus/minus through 15 games prior to the injury.

The Canadiens have signed Jordan Harris to a two-year contract extension worth $2.8 million ($1.4M AAV).

Harris has a goal, 10 assists, 48 SOG, 18 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 47 games this season and has agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $2.8 Million ($1.4 Million AAV) with the Montreal Canadiens. The deal will make the 22-year-old a Canadien until at least the end of the 2024-25 season.

Thompson stopped 36 of 38 shots (.947 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was defeated in overtime by the New York Islanders in his last start. The 25-year-old rookie was an NHL All-star due to his 19-13-3 record, 2.69 GAA and .913 SV%. He takes on the Minnesota Wild, who have lost their last two games and are 21st in the NHL in goals per game (3.0).

The 28-year-old has enjoyed an up-and-down first season in Detroit, with his 17-12-5 record, but mediocre 3.03 GAA and .900 SV%. The Devils' backup net minder has been shaken when called up this season, with his 6-4-2 record, 3.21 GAA and .894 SV%. He takes on the Seattle Kraken, who are coming off a 4-0 shutout loss to the New York Islanders but are fifth in the NHL in goals per game (3.54).

Justin Schultz has been activated from the injured reserve and will be in Seattle's lineup Thursday (undisclosed).

Schultz last played on January 17th due to an undisclosed injury and has been activated off the injured reserve Thursday and will be in the Kranken's lineup. The 32-year-old will make a welcome return as he had five goals, 19 assists, 59 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 42 games prior to his injury.
