Palmieri hasn't played since Dec. 16th due to an upper-body injury but was activated off the injured reserve Monday. The 31-year-old has battled injuries all season, which has led to six goals, three assists, 39 SOG, six PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 21 games played.

Hudson Fasching has been placed on the injured reserve (lower body).

Fasching left the Islanders' game on January 18th vs. Boston after just 10:12 TOI due to a lower-body and was placed on the injured reserve Monday. The 27-year-old had three goals, two assists, 20 SOG, six PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 19 games prior to the injury.

Nikita Zaitsev has been reactivated from the injured reserve (lower body).

Zaitsev has been out since Dec. 27th due to a lower-body injury but was activated off the injured reserve Monday. The 31-year-old has had a rough go so far in 2022-23, with three assists, six SOG and a -6 plus/minus through 19 games this season prior to the injury.

Rourke Chartier has been activated from the injured reserve (upper body) and reassigned to Belleville (AHL).

Chartier has been out since Dec. 22nd due to an upper-body injured but was reactivated off the injured reserve Monday and reassigned to Belleville (AHL). In six games with the Senators, he failed to pick up a point and had eight SOG.

Mathew Dumba is expected to draw back into the Wilds' lineup Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.

Dumba has been a healthy scratch for the Wilds' previous two games but is expected to draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay as he pairs up with Jonas Brodin. The 28-year-old has four goals, eight assists, 56 SOG, 54 PIMs, and a +3 plus/minus through 43 games prior to being scratched.

Anderson is expected to start Monday in Dallas.

Anderson allowed four goals on 26 shots (.846 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was defeated in overtime by Chicago last game. The league's oldest active player has been very solid in limited action this seaosn, with his 7-6-2 record, 2.78 GAA and .917 SV%. He will be facing the Dallas Stars for his 700th NHL game, who have won three of their last four games 4-0.

Pavel Buchnevich will be questionable to play Tuesday vs. Buffalo (lower body).

Buchnevich missed Monday's practice due to a lower-body injury and is questionable to play Tuesday vs. Buffalo. The 27-year-old has been enjoying an excellent season to date, with his 15 goals and 38 points in 38 games placing him third on the team in points.

Husso will start Tuesday vs. the Sharks.

Husso stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) for his third loss in four starts as he was defeated by Philadelphia in his previous start. The 27-year-old has watched his numbers plummet as of late, which has led to a 15-11-5 record, 3.03 GAA and .901 SV%. He will take on the San Jose Sharks, who have lost four of their last five games after a 4-0 loss to Boston in their previous game.

Luke Philp has been recalled from Rockford (AHL) for the first time in his career.

Philp had 14 goals, 16 assists, 19 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 31 games with Rockford (AHL) and has been recalled from Rockford (AHL) for the first time in his career Monday. The 27-year-old will be hoping to make his NHL debut after four strong AHL seasons in Stockton and Rockford.

Filip Roos has been recalled from the Rockford IceHogs (AHL).

Roos had three goals, four assists, 14 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 17 games with Rockford (AHL) but will head back to Chicago for a second time this season. In his previous stint with the big club in Chicago, he had one goal, two assists, four PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 15 games.

Isaak Phillips has been returned to Rockford (AHL).

Phillips had a goal, three assists, five PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 11 games with the Blackhawks but will head back down to Rockford (AHL) Monday after he was reassigned there by Chicago. Phillips was successful in his previous stint in Rockford, with three goals, 14 assists and 32 PIMs in 25 games prior to earning his promotion.

Tyler Johnson has been placed on the injured reserve (ankle).

Johnson was forced to leave the Blackhawks' previous game after just five shifts and 4:07 TOI due to re-aggravating the ankle injury which caused him to miss 20 games earlier in the season. He is expected to miss the teams' upcoming three-game road trip but will hope to return and add to the five goals, nine assists, 38 SOG and eight PIMs through 22 games he had collected prior to his injury.

Noah Dobson will be a game-time decision Monday vs. Toronto (undisclosed).

Dobson has 10 goals, 17 assists, 137 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus through 48 games this season but will be a game-time decision Monday as the Islanders take on Toronto. It will be the first game this season that the 23-year-old is forced to miss if he does not suit up.

Oettinger will start Monday vs. the Sabres.

Oettinger was perfect stopping all 33 shots for his second shutout of the week as he beat Arizona in his previous start. The 24-year-old has put himself back in the Vezina Trophy race with his recent, strong play, which has led to his 21-7-4 record, 2.20 GAA and .926 SV%. He takes on the Buffalo Sabres, who have won their last two games and lead the NHL in goals per game (3.8).

Hintz has missed the Stars previous seven games due to an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision Monday as they take on the Buffalo Sabres. The 26-year-old was having a sensational season prior to his injury, with 19 goals, 25 assists, 97 SOG, 12 PIMs and a +23 plus/minus through 40 games played.

Vladar will start Monday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Vladar stopped 21 of 24 shots (.875 SV%) for his fourth win in five starts as he beat Tampa Bay in his previous start. The 25-year-old Flames' backup has been mediocre this season, with his 9-4-4 record, 2.74 GAA and .906 SV%. He will face the Columbus Blue Jackets, who just snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-3 win over San Jose last game but rank 28th in the NHL in both goals for per game and shots per game.

Aaron Ekblad will be in the Panthers' lineup Monday vs. the Rangers (upper body).

Ekblad gave the Panthers yet another injury scare as he left their previous game after just three shifts and 1:50 TOI due to an upper-body injury. The 26-year-old will play Monday after skating with the team earlier in the day, and will be hoping to add to his seven goals, 13 assists, 97 SOG and 40 PIMs he has collected through 37 games this season.

Bennett left the Panthers' previous game vs. Minnesota after just 11 shifts and 9:14 TOI due to an upper-body injury but will play Monday after being a game-time decision. The 26-year-old has 11 goals, 19 assists, 144 SOG, 48 PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 48 games this season.
