Jack Quinn has been recalled from Rochester (AHL).

Quinn has been having a solid rookie season, with six goals, 17 points, 50 SOG, and a +4 plus/minus through 33 games with the Sabres but was sent down to Rochester earlier in the week as a paper move due to the three healthy goaltender situation in Buffalo. He is back up with the big club and expected to stay for the remained of the year.

Rittich is expected to start Friday in Pittsburgh.

Rittich allowed four goals on 38 shots (.895 SV%) for his third win in five starts as he beat Vancouver his last time starting. The Jets' backup has been serviceable this season, with his 6-4-0 record, 2.75 GAA and .905 SV%. He will face the up-and-down Pittsburgh Penguins, who have won their last two games after losing six straight prior.

Peyton Krebs has been loaned to Rochester (AHL).

Krebs has three goals, six assists, 29 SOG, 23 PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 34 games with the Sabres' but will head down to Rochester as a paper transaction on loan. Krebs should be back up with the Sabres sooner rather than later as he is not expected to stay in the minors long.

Dustin Tokarski will start Friday vs. Winnipeg.

Tokarski stopped 18 of 19 shots (.947 SV%) for a relief victory and his first of the year over Vancouver in his last game. The 33-year-old had been excellent in the minors with his 8-6-7 record, .926 SV% and 2.22 GAA. He will face Winnipeg Friday, who have won six of their last seven contests with a 4-2 win over Buffalo last game.

Fedun had two assists, 12 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 30 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) but was recalled Thursday to Pittsburgh. The 34-year-old has 127 career NHL games, where he has picked up eight goals, 27 assists and 176 SOG.

Rutta was a game-time decision for Friday due to an undisclosed injury but it looks like he will dress without any issues. The 32-year-old has three goals, four assists, 51 SOG, 22 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 40 games so far this season.
