Jarry will start Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Jarry stopped 26 of 28 shots (.929 SV%) to pick up his seventh straight win, and 11th in his last 12 starts as he beat the Rangers in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been making a heavy push for the Vezina Trophy this year, with his 15-3-3 record, 2.60 GAA and .922 SV%. He will take on one of the hottest teams in the NHL in Carolina, who has won their last six games and ten of their last 11 games.

Tristan Jarry
Josh Archibald is considered day-to-day and will miss Thursday's game vs. Carolina (lower body).

Archibald missed the Penguins' last game due to a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day as he will be forced to miss Thursday's game as well. Archibald has four goals, two assists, 41 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus through 30 games prior to the injury.

Josh Archibald
Ryan Poehling will not play Thursday vs Carolina as he is considered day-to-day with an injury (upper body).

Poehling left the Penguins' previous game after just 6:07 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will miss Thursday's game as he is considered day-to-day. Poehling has been enjoying a solid first season in Pittsburgh, with four goals, four assists, 34 SOG and a +3 plus/minus through 30 games before the injury.

Ryan Poehling
Ilya Sorokin will start Thursday vs. the New York Rangers.

Sorokin was perfect in his last start, stopping all 46 of 46 shots to pick up his third shutout of the season in a rare shootout loss vs. Colorado in his last game. Sorokin has been the Islanders' brightest spot this season, as he has led them between the pipes with his 10-10-1 record, 2.36 GAA and .926 SV%. He will take on the New York Rangers, who just snapped a seven-game winning streak with a 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh in their last game.

Ilya Sorokin
Jordie Benn will return Thursday vs. Philadelphia (upper body).

Benn has missed the Maple Leafs' previous 12 games due to an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup Thursday vs. the Flyers. The timing could not be better for his return as he will be replacing the injured Rasmus Sandin (neck) and hoping to improve on his goal and assist he picked up over his brief first six-game stint with Toronto prior to the injury.

Jordie Benn
Tim Stutzle will be a game-time decision Thursday vs. Washington (shoulder).

Stutzle has missed the Senators' previous four games as he's dealt with a shoulder injury and will be a game-time decision Thursday vs. the Capitals. If he does return, it will be a massive boost for Ottawa, as he has 10 goals, 17 assists, 67 SOG and 20 PIMs through 28 games played.

Tim Stützle
Erik Brannstrom will not play Thursday vs. the Washington Capitals (leg).

Brannstrom has three assists, 33 SOG and is a -1 plus/minus through 32 games this season but will be forced to miss his first contest of the year as he is considered day-to-day with a leg injury. Brannstrom will be hoping he does not miss a lot of time after a hand injury took 29 games from him due to injury in 2021-22.
