Connor Ingram will start Wednesday vs. Edmonton.

Ingram allowed four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) as he lost his fifth straight start in a defeat to Minnesota on Nov.27th, his last game. The Coyotes' backup netminder has been horrendous this season, with a 1-5-1 record, 3.57 GAA and .887 SV%. He faces off against the Edmonton Oilers, who will hope their third-ranked PP (29%) can help improve their 10th-ranked goals per game (3.42) in the NHL.

Filip Chytil is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday (lower body)

Chytil missed the Rangers' previous two contests due to a lower-body injury but is expected to return Wednesday. It will be a welcome return for the 23-year-old, who has four goals, 11 points and is a +6 with 30 SOG through 19 GP this season.

Filip Chytil
Shesterkin was the first goalie off of the ice at the Rangers morning skate.

Shesterkin stopped 25 of 29 shots (.862 SV%) to end a three-game losing skid with a victory over St. Louis in his previous start. Last season's Vezina Trophy winner has struggled at times this year, as shown by his .910 SV%, 2.67 GAA and 11-4-4 record. He takes on the Pacific Division-leading Vegas Golden Knights who have won three of their last four games.

Thompson was the first goalie off of the ice at the Golden Knights morning skate.

Thompson stopped 40 of 43 shots (.930 SV%) as he picked up his second victory in three starts with an impressive win over Boston in his last start. Nico Sturm will return to the Sharks' lineup Wednesday (concussion).

Sturm hasn't played since Nov. 19th due to a concussion but will return Wednesday as the Sharks take on Vancouver. The 27-year-old had been enjoying his best season to date prior to the injury with six goals and eight points through 20 GP.

Nico Sturm
Nick Cicek will be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. Vancouver.

Cicek will head to the press box as a healthy scratch after collecting four assists and a -3 plus/minus across 10 games played. The 22-year-old will hope to be back in the lineup soon as he was just starting to catch his footing in his first season.

Nick Cicek
Josh Manson will be out for a month after he was placed on the injured reserve (lower body).

Manson left the Avalanches' game on Dec. 1st vs. Buffalo with a lower-body injury after playing only 10:17 TOI. It is yet another injury for Colorado, which is without several key roster pieces. Manson has two goals, six points and 40 PIMs through 21 games this season.

Josh Manson
A.J. Greer will be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. Colorado

Greer heads to the press box as a healthy scratch yet again Wednesday as Boston takes on Colorado. The 25-year-old will not get the chance to play against his old team after having three goals, seven points and 20 SOG through 19 games played this season.

A.J. Greer

Skinner took the hard-luck loss after stopping 47 of 50 shots (.940 SV%) in his previous start vs. Washington. The Edmonton native has taken over the Oilers' starter's crease as he gets their fifth start in six games having a 7-6-0 record, .916 SV% and 2.93 GAA. He draws the Arizona Coyotes who are in the middle of a five-game losing skid and are last place in the NHL in shots per game.

Stuart Skinner
Ullmark will start Wednesday in Colorado.

He takes on the injured Colorado Avalanche, who have dropped three of their last four games average 1.33 GF in each of the losses.

Linus Ullmark
Daniel Vladar is the likely starter vs. Minnesota.

Vladar stopped 18 of 20 shots (.900 SV%) as he picked up his third straight win in a victory over Arizona his last time out. The Flames' backup has been stealing starts as of last due to his impressive .914 SV%, 4-4-1 record and 2.54 GAA. He takes on the surging Minnesota Wild, who have won four straight after a 6-5 win over Dallas in their previous contest.

Dan Vladar
Alexandar Georgiev was in the starters' crease Wednesday morning.
