Thrun was originally a fourth-round pick of the Ducks, but his rights were traded to the Sharks this February for a 2024 third-round pick. The 22-year-old blueliner, who had 31 points (7G / 24A) in 33 games at Harvard University this season, is expected to join the Sharks immediately.
Sasson was an undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan University, who scored 15 goals with 27 assists (42 points) in 38 games during his sophomore season.
Farrell was a fourth-round pick of the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Draft and just finished his sophomore season at Harvard University. The 21-year-old led Harvard with 53 points (20G / 33A) in 34 games.
