Viel will make his Sharks' season debut Tuesday and add some muscle to the lineup as he currently ranks second in the AHL with 65 PIMs through just 18 games played with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL). The 25-year-old has played in 45 career NHL games played and has three goals, two assists and 137 PIMs.
Vladar allowed three goals on 33 shots (.909 SV%) for his fourth loss in a row his previous start vs. Carolina. The Flames' backup netminder has had some bad luck this season as shown by his 2.82 GAA, .908 SV% and 1-4-1 record. He takes on the Florida Panthers, who have lost two straight games in overtime after dropping their last contest 4-3 to Edmonton.
Sorokin stopped 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) to pick up his third straight win his last time out vs. Columbus. He has been sensational this season, ranking second in the NHL in save percentage (.933 SV%) and third in GAA (2.19) while holding a 10-5-0 record. He will take on the Philadelphia Flyers, who are in the middle of a horrific 10-game losing streak.
Andersson will head back to the Ontario Reign (AHL) for the second time this season where he had five goals and nine points in 12 games prior to his callup. In his one game with Los Angeles, he had one shot and 8.37 TOI in limited minutes.
Spence has been having a a very strong season with Ontario (AHL) posting just under a point-per-game with a goal and 15 assists and 14 PIMs through 17 games. Spence played in 24 games with Los Angeles in 2021-22 and had two goals and six assists with 41 SOG.
Fagemo has earned the call-up after posting six goals, two assists and a -7 plus/minus through 15 games with the Ontario Reign (AHL). He heads up to Los Angeles where he will look to build off the four career NHL games played with zero points he has in previous seasons.
Kahkonen allowed four goals on only 20 shots (.800 SV%) as he picked up his fourth loss in five starts vs. Vancouver his last time out. Kahkonen has been terrible as the Sharks' backup this season as shown by his .871 SV%, 3.81 GAA and 2-5-1 record. He will take on the Montreal Canadiens, who are on a two-game winning streak but rank 21st in the NHL in goals per game (2.95).
Jarry stopped 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) for his fourth straight win his last time out vs. Philadelphia. The 27-year-old has been his usual solid self this season, posting an 8-3-2 record with his 2.9 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the Carolina Hurricanes, who snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Calgary their last time out.
Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 23 shots (.783 SV%) for his fifth loss in seven starts as he was downed by Columbus his last time out. The 34-year-old has fought the puck all season as shown by his 3.62 GAA, .888 SV% and 4-5-1 record. He faces the Calgary Flames who find themselves in the middle of a three-game losing streak but still ranking fourth in the NHL in shots on goal (34.8).
Hellebuyck stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) to pick up his tenth win of the season his last time out vs. Chicago. Hellebuyck has been the heart of the Jets this season as shown by his .925 SV%, 2.43 GAA and 10-5-1 record. He takes on the injured Colorado Avalanche, who have still won four of their last five games despite having nearly half their regular lineup healthy.

Harris has been a healthy scratch for the Canadiens' previous two contests but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday as they take on San Jose. The 22-year-old defenseman has a goal and four assists with a +1 plus/minus and 26 SOG through 18 games played.
Wideman will be a healthy scratch yet again Tuesday having not played since Nov. 22nd. The 32-year-old defenseman has four assists, 23 PIMs and 17 SOG through 12 games this season.
Xhekaj will head to the press box for the second time this season Tuesday as Montreal takes on San Jose. The rookie has had a strong start to his career, with three goals, three assists, 36 SOG and a league-leading 47 PIMs through 20 games prior to his scratching.
It's unclear who Zamula will replace, but Tony DeAngelo is a game-time decision, so it will be him if DeAngelo can't go. If DeAngelo ends up playing, look for Nick Seeler or Justin Braun to come out.
