Jordan Greenway will not play as part of the Wilds' back-to-back (rest).

Greenway returned from a trip to the injured reserve Tuesday, playing 14:38 and collecting a -1 rating as he eased his way back into the Wild lineup vs. Los Angeles. He is using Wednesday's day off for rest as the Wild do not want to push him with their back-to-back games.

Jordan Greenway
Gustavsson will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Gustavsson stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) taking the unfortunate 2-1 loss to Detroit his last time out on October 29th. The Wilds' backup has struggled in limited action this season, collecting a 0-3-0 record alongside his 3.92 GAA and .878 SV%. He draws the start against Anaheim who ranks in the bottom 10 in the NHL in both Goals (2.85) and SOG (29.2) per game.

Filip Gustavsson
Charlie McAvoy is expected to make his season debut vs. the Flames Thursday (Shoulder).

McAvoy has not played this season as he recovered from eft shoulder arthroscopic stabilization surgery on June 3. McAvoy returns to the Bruins' lineup ahead of schedule and will likely slot right back in atop their top defensive pair and power-play unit. He finished 2021-22 with a career-high 10 goals and 56 points across 78 games while finishing with 21 PPP.

Charlie McAvoy
Nikita Alexandrov has been recalled from Springfield (AHL).

Alexandrov will be called up to the Blues' lineup from Springfield (AHL) to add a spark as St.Louis finds itself in the middle of an eight-game losing streak. He has four goals and eight points in nine games with Springfield prior to his promotion and has never played in the NHL before his callup.

Nikita Alexandrov
Josh Leivo has been recalled from Springfield (AHL).

Leivo has already enjoyed a small cup of tea with the Blues' prior to him being recalled Wednesday, as he failed to pick up a point through three games. After heading to Springfield (AHL) he was nothing short of dominant, scoring three goals and adding an assist while only playing in two games.

Josh Leivo
Antti Raanta was the first goalie off the ice at Carolina's morning skate.

Raanta stoped 22 of 25 shots (.880 SV%) to pick up the win over Buffalo his last time out. Raanta has yet to lose in regulation, posting a 3-0-1 record along with a 2.42 GAA and .905 SV% while backing up the Hurricanes' crease. He will face a lot of rubber Wednesday as he takes on the Florida Panthers who rank first in the NHL in SOG per game with 40.4.

Antti Raanta
Tyler Bertuzzi is expected to rejoin the Red Wings' Tuesday vs. Anaheim.

Bertuzzi has been out since the second game of the season when he broke his hand and was a pleasant face to see a return to Red Wings practice Tuesday. It was a tough loss for both the Red Wings and Bertuzzi after he put up his first 30/30 season last year finishing with 62 points (30G/32A) in 68 games in 2021-22. Prior to breaking his hand, he picked up one assist and four SOG in two games.

Tyler Bertuzzi
Jeff Carter will be a game-time decision vs. the Capitals Wednesday.

Carter has not played since October 29th when he was forced to leave a game vs. Seattle with a lower-body injury after just 4:18 TOI. The 37-year-old has been enjoying a nice season with six points (2G/4A) and 19 SOG through his first nine games prior to the injury.

Jeff Carter
Anton Forsberg will start vs. New Jersey Thursday.

Forsberg allowed five goals on 19 shots (.737 SV%) as he picked up his fourth straight loss dropping a 5-4 contest to Vegas. He has fought the puck so far in 2022-23, posting a 3-6-0 record with a 3.59 GAA and .898 SV%. He draws the tough task of taking on the New Jersey Devils who rank fourth in the NHL in goals per game (3.62) and 2nd in SOG per game (37.6).

Anton Forsberg
Casey DeSmith will start Wednesday vs. the Captials.

DeSmith picked up his fourth straight loss his last time out, allowing four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%) in a loss to Buffalo. The Penguins' backup has been okay this season, amassing an 0-3-1 record to go along with a .904 SV% and 3.25 GAA. He takes on the rival Washington Capitals' who just snapped a four-game losing streak themselves, with a 5-4 win over Edmonton on Monday.

Casey DeSmith
Carter Hart is back on the ice for the Flyers after missing Tuesday's game due to illness.

Hart was unexpectedly scratched from Tuesday's game late due to an illness forcing Felix Sandstrom to have to take the start in a 5-1 victory over St. Louis. He is having an exceptional season, ranking second in the NHL in SV% (.946) and third in GAA 1.97 while posting a 6-0-2 record.

Carter Hart
Matt Luff is out 10-12 weeks after undergoing wrist-surgery Wednesday.

Luff only managed 8:43 TOI before being forced to leave the Red Wings' previous contest vs. the Canadiens due to an incredibly dangerous boarding hit from rookie Juraj Slafkovsky. Luff has one goal through seven games after receiving a promotion to the Red Wings after a few games with Grand Rapids this season. He is out for 10-12 weeks following wrist surgery Wednesday.
