Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 34 shots (.941 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was downed by the Boston Bruins his last time between the pipes. The 28-year-old has been solid yet again this season, but will not lead the NHL in wins for a sixth-straight year as he has a 31-20-4 record, 2.69 GAA and .914 SV%. He will take on the Carolina Hurricanes, who have won three of their last five games and are third in the NHL in shots per game (34.8).




Sandstrom allowed five goals on 34 shots (.853 SV%) for his eighth straight loss as he was defeated in overtime by the Carolina Hurricanes his last time out. The 26-year-old rookie has found winning nearly impossible this season, as proven by his 1-10-2 record, 3.49 GAA and .884 SV%. He will face the Montreal Canadiens, who have won three of their last four games but are 30th in the NHL in shots per game (27.6).

Ersson had a 21-14-1 record, .904 SV% and 2.70 GAA with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) but has been recalled to Philadelphia Tuesday on an emergency basis due to an injury to Carter Hart (lower-body). The 23-year-old returns to the Flyers, where he is 6-1-0 with a .898 SV% and 3.07 GAA.

Hart is 21-21-10 with a 2.90 GAA and a .909 SV% on the season but is now day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not dress Tuesday vs. Montreal. Samuel Ersson has been recalled on an emergency basis from Lehigh-Valley (AHL) to replace Hart for the time being.

Lindgren missed the Rangers' previous game due to a shoulder injury and was a full participant in Monday's practice but will not play Tuesday vs. Columbus. The 25-year-old has a goal, 17 assists, 70 SOG, 43 PIMs and a +28 plus/minus through 58 games this season prior to his injury.

Shesterkin stopped 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) for his sixth win in seven games as he beat Carolina in his previous start. The 27-year-old reigning Vezina Trophy winner has been solid yet again this season, as shown by his 33-12-7 record, 2.55 GAA and .914 SV%. He takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have lost four of their last six contests after an 8-2 defeat to Montreal last game.

Kaliyev has been a healthy scratch for the Kings' previous three games but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Calgary as he replaces Jaret Anderson-Dolan. The 21-year-old has 11 goals, 13 assists, 104 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 47 games played this season.

Lizotte served his one-game suspension for a cross-check on Winnipeg's Josh Morrisey and will return to the Kings' lineup Tuesday vs. Calgary. The 25-year-old had 10 goals, 20 assists, 96 SOG, 64 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus through 72 games played prior to his suspension.

Anderson-Dolan has seven goals, five assists, 54 SOG, two PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 44 games played but will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Calgary. The 23-year-old will be replaced by Arthur Kaliyev in the Kings' lineup.

Spence had an assist, six SOG, and a +3 plus/minus through five games with the Kings but has been loaned back to the Ontario Reign (AHL) on Tuesday. The 22-year-old returns to the Reign, where he had four goals, 37 assists, 30 PIMs and a -14 plus/minus through 50 games so far this season.

Rousek scored his first career goal, and picked up his first assist across 9:03 TOI in his debut Monday but has been loaned back to the Rochester Americans (AHL) Tuesday. The 23-year-old returns to Rochester, where he has 15 goals, 34 assists, 68 SOG, 24 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 62 games played this season.

Saarela had seven goals, 11 assists, 10 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 41 games with Lukko (Liiga) and has signed a two-year, entry-level contract that starts in 2023-24 with the Chicago Blackhawks. The 21-year-old was the Blackhawks' 2019 fourth-round pick (123 overall).

Saros allowed seven goals on 39 shots (.821 SV%) to snap a two-game winning streak as he lost to the Seattle Kraken in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been the Predators' best player yet again this season, with his 28-20-7 record, 2.80 GAA and .915 SV%. He takes on the red-hot Boston Bruins, who have won their last seven games and are second in the NHL in goals per game (3.73).

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 28 shots (.892 SV%) to snap a two-game winning streak as he lost to the Los Angeles Kings in his previous start. The 29-year-old has been great this season as he attempts to keep the Jets in a playoff position, with his 32-23-2 record, 2.59 GAA and .918 SV%. He will face the free-falling San Jose Sharks, who are in the midst of a nine-game losing streak and are 25th in the NHL in goals (2.85).

Farrell had 20 goals, 33 assists, 12 PIMs and a +21 plus/minus through 34 games with Harvard University (NCAA) this season and is expected to make his NHL debut Tuesday. The 21-year-old was the Canadiens' 2020 fourth-round pick (124 overall).

Kochetkov stopped 41 of 44 shots (.932 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak as he beat the Toronto Maple Leafs his previous time between the pipes. The 23-year-old rookie has been impressive when called upon this season, with his 12-6-5 record, 2.41 GAA and .911 SV%. He will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have lost four straight after a 2-1 defeat to Boston last game.
