He takes on the Edmonton Oilers, who will be looking to continue their six-game winning streak after their 4-2 victory over Vancouver in their last game.

Skinner stopped 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) for his first win in four starts as he beat Vancouver his last time out. The 24-year-old Edmonton native has been solid all season for the Oilers, with his 13-10-2 record, .915 SV% and 2.92 GAA. He takes on the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have lost four of their last five games after a 4-3 overtime loss to Calgary last game.

Andersen stopped 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) for his fourth-straight win as he beat the New York Islanders in his previous start. The 33-year-old has been fantastic since returning from a three-month injury four games ago, improving his season record to 9-3-0, 2.40 GAA and .910 SV%. He takes on the Dallas Stars, who is coming off a 3-2 loss to Buffalo but rank seventh in the NHL in goals per game (3.43).

Shesterkin stopped 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak as he beat Florida in his previous start. The 27-year-old 2022 Vezina winner has been solid yet again this season, with his 21-8-6 record, 2.44 GAA and .918 SV%. He will face the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have won three of their last four games after a 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders last game.

Oettinger allowed three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%) as he was downed by Buffalo in his previous start. The 24-year-old has been sensational this season, with his 21-7-5 record, 2.22 GAA and .925 SV%. He draws the Carolina Hurricanes, who have won four of their last five games after a 5-2 win over NYI last contest.

Varlamov allowed four goals on 24 shots (.833 SV%) for his second-straight loss as he was defeated by the Boston Bruins his last time out. The 34-year-old Islanders' backup has been solid when called upon this season, with his 8-5-1 record, 2.85 GAA and .908 SV%. He will face the Ottawa Senators, who have lost four of their last five contests after a 5-1 loss to Winnipeg last game.

Jarry is 16-5-5 with a 2.65 GAA and .921 SV% but is considered day-to-day as he deals with an upper-body injury. It is the second injury within a month for the Penguins' starter. Dustin Tokarski was recalled in a corresponding move Wednesday to cover for Jarry in his absence.

Gambrell was a healthy scratch for the Senators' last game but will draw back into the lineup for Mark Kastelic (undisclosed) Wednesday vs. the New York Islanders. The 26-year-old has one goal, 21 SOG and a -5 plus/minus through 27 games played this season.

Kastelic is "banged up" and will not be able to play Wednesday vs. the New York Islanders. Dylan Gambrell will be taking his spot in the bottom-six. The 23-year-old has four goals, one assist and a -10 plus/minus through 43 games this season.

Talbot allowed four goals on 44 shots (.909 SV%) for his fifth loss in six starts as he was defeated by Pittsburgh in his previous start. The 35-year-old has struggled all season since joining Ottawa, with his 11-13-1 record, 2.95 GAA and .903 SV%. He faces the freefalling New York Islanders, who have lost nine of their last ten games after a 5-2 loss to Toronto their last time out.

Allen has not played since January 7th due to an upper-body injury and missed the last week as he was on the mend. The 32-year-old Canadiens' starter has been very weak this season, with his 10-16-1 record, 3.52 GAA and .892 SV% prior to his injury.

Primeau saw one period of action with the Canadiens stopping six of seven shots (.857 SV%) before being sent back down to Laval (AHL) on Wednesday. The 23-year-old heads back to the AHL where he struggled prior to his promotion, with a 4-6-3 record, 3.65 GAA and .890 SV%.

Gourde missed the Krakens' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will be a game-time decision Wednesday as they take on the Vancouver Canucks. The 31-year-old has been having one of his best career seasons to date, with six goals, 24 assists, 78 SOG, 44 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 45 games prior to the injury.

Burakovsky has 13 goals, 25 assists, 100 SOG, 14 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus through 45 games this season but will be a game-time decision Wednesday as he deals with an undisclosed injury. If he is forced to miss any time it will be the first time this season he has done so.

Schwartz hasn't played since January 12th and is doubtful but a game-time decision to play Wednesday vs. Vancouver. The 30-year-old veteran has 10 goals, 13 assists, 85 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 40 games played prior to the injury.
