Kylington will sit out for a second straight game, meaning Michael Stone will remain in the lineup. With both Kylington and Brett Ritchie staying in Calgary, the Flames recalled Juuso Valimaki and Adam Ruzicka from the AHL.

Jarnkrok missed Saturday's game due to an illness but was on the ice this morning in Los Angeles and is expected to play Monday. Jarnkrok will replace Brett Ritchie, who did not travel due to a lower-body injury.

Ritchie picked up a lower-body injury vs. the Blues on Saturday and will not be available or Monday's game against the Kings. Calle Jarnkrok (illness) is expected to be back in the lineup to replace Ritchie in the bottom-6.


With Sean Monahan landing on LTIR over the weekend, the Flames have some new-found cap space. They used the room to recall Ruzicka and Juuuso Valimaki from the AHL. Ruzicka has nine points (5G / 4A) in 23 NHL games and 19 points (11G / 8A) in 16 AHL games this season.

Kyrou has missed the last three games with an illness but will play Monday vs. the Coyotes. Kyrou was back on the third line and second power-play unit in Monday's practice and has 19 points (4G / 15A) in his last 17 games.

Schmidt missed three games last week while in COVID-19 protocol but was back at practice on Monday and should be in the lineup on Wednesday. Schmidt has just seven points (1G / 6A) in his last 20 games.

Connor missed three games last week while in COVID-19 protocol but was back at practice on Monday and should be in the lineup on Wednesday. Connor has been red-hot for the last few months, posting 40 points (18G / 22A) in his last 27 games.

Soderstrom recently returned to the Tucson lineup after missing 17 games with an injury. Soderstrom has no points in 13 NHL games this season but has compiled 13 points (2G / 11A) in 23 games with Tucson. It's unclear whether Soderstrom will draw into the lineup on Monday.

Byram has been out since January 10th but recently went to the AHL for conditioning. He did not register a point in two games with the Eagles but has 11 points (5G / 6A) in 18 NHL games this season. He could be back in the Avalanche lineup on Tuesday, or at some point during their three-game road trip.


Muzzin has been sidelined since February 21st and will not play Monday but will likely return to the lineup on Tuesday. Muzzin will likely replace Timothy Liljegren or Justin Holll against the Panthers.

Nylander missed Sunday's practice with an illness and will be a game-time decision in Tampa. Nick Abruzzese will likely be a healthy scratch if Nylander plays but could remain in the lineup if he is out.


McDonagh will miss his sixth straight game on Monday but took part in the morning skate, which is a good sign that he'll be back at some point this week. Cal Foote will remain in the lineup until McDonagh is back.


Kukan has been a regular in the Blue Jackets lineup this season but will be a healthy scratch on Monday. Jake Christiansen was recalled from Cleveland (AHL) on Sunday and will replace Kukan in the lineup on Monday.
