The Bruins have signed Jake DeBrusk to a two-year contract extension worth $8.0 million ($4.0M AAV).
DeBrusk was set to become an RFA this summer but signs a two-year extension with the Bruins. DeBrusk asked for a trade earlier in the season, so this could be a sign-and-trade scenario. He has found his game since being promoted to the top line, scoring eight goals with three assists (11 points) in his last 14 games.
The Coyotes have acquired Jack McBain from the Wild for a 2022 second-round pick.
McBain was a third-round pick of the Wild in 2018 but his agent informed the Wild earlier this month that he planned to become a free agent this summer rather than sign with Minnesota. McBain led Boston College with 33 points (19G / 14A) in 24 games this season.
The Senators have signed Anton Forsberg to a three-year contract extension worth $8.25 million ($2.75M AAV).
Forsberg has enjoyed a breakout season in Ottawa, going 14-12-2 with a 2.77 GAA and .918 SV% in 31 games (29 starts). Forsberg signing a three-year extension means the Senators will have a goaltending tandem of Forsberg and Matt Murray for the next two seasons.
The Coyotes have signed Karel Vejmelka to a three-year contract extension worth $8.175 million ($2.725M AAV).
Vejmelka came over from the Czech League and has played well for the Coyotes this season, going 10-23-1 with a 3.35 GAA and .905 SV% behind one of the league's worst clubs. With Scott Wedgewood getting traded to Dallas on Sunday, Vejmelka is the unquestioned No.1 netminder in Arizona moving forward. His three-year extension will keep him with the team the 2024-25 season.
Martinook is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with an undisclosed injury.
Martinook suffered the undisclosed injury in the Hurricanes' loss in Toronto on Thursday and missed Friday and Sunday's games. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour told reporters that that veteran winger will miss at least a couple of weeks.
The Penguins acquired Nathan Beaulieu from the Jets for a conditional seventh-round pick.
Beaulieu is in the final year of a two-year deal that carries a $1.25M AAV cap-hit and is set to become a UFA this summer. Beaulieu has had a tough few seasons in Winnipeg, compiling just 18 points (1G / 17A), 147 hits and 108 blocked shots in 105 games. He's currently on LTIR so this may just be a move to help create more cap space in Pittsburgh.
The Jets have acquired Mason Appleton from the Kraken for a 2023 fourth-round pick.
Appleton was picked in the expansion draft but the Jets reunite with the 26-year-old for a fourth-round pick. Appleton could replace Andrew Copp, who may be on the move before Monday's trade deadline. Appleton has scored six goals with 11 assists (17 points) in 49 games this season.
The Stars have acquired Scott Wedgewood from the Coyotes for a conditional fourth-round pick.
Anton Khudobin and Ben Bishop are out for the season and Braden Holtby is currently banged up, so the Stars acquired Wedgewood to serve as Jake Oettinger's backup. The move suggests that Holtby could be out long-term. Wedgewood has had an up-and-down season in Arizona, going 1012-2 with a 3.16 GAA and .911 SV% in 26 games (23 starts).
The Predators have acquired Jeremy Lauzon from the Kraken for a 2022 second-round pick.
Lauzon was selected from Boston in the expansion draft and totalled six points (1G / 5A), 176 hits and 49 blocked shots across 53 games with the Kraken this season. With both Mark Borowiecki and Matt Benning on IR, Lauzon provides the Predators with additional defenseman depth.

The Senators have acquired Mathieu Joseph and a 2024 fourth-round pick from the Lightning for Nick Paul.
Joseph was a fourth-round pick in 2015 and has not produced a lot offensively, playing largely in a depth role with the Lightning. In Ottawa, Joseph should play higher up the lineup and could find a little more offence. The 25-year-old has scored eight goals with 10 assists (18 points) in 58 games this season.
The Lightning have acquired Nick Paul from the Senators for Mathieu Joseph and a 2024 fourth-round pick.
Paul is a strong two-way forward, who will help the Lightning third line but won't provide a lot of offence. Paul has scored 11 goals and seven assists (18 points) in 59 games this season. Look for him to start on a line with Ross Colton and Brandon Hagel.
Moser (upper-body) remains sidelined Sunday in San Jose.

van Riemsdyk was scratched on Sunday and was placed on IR after puck-drop. Michal Kempny replaced him in the lineup vs. Dallas and should remain in the lineup moving forward.
Dowd is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Dowd did not come onto the ice for warmups on Sunday and the team announced that he's day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Brett Leason replaced him in the lineup.
The Kings have placed Mikey Anderson (upper-body) on LTIR.
Anderson was originally listed as week-to-week but now it seems likely that he will miss the rest of the regular season. The Kings acquired Troy Stecher from Detroit on Sunday to help replace Anderson and some of the other defensemen that the Kings are missing right now (Doughty & Roy).
Nieto (undisclosed) will not play Sunday vs. the Coyotes.
Nieto is dealing with an undisclosed injury, likely stemming from Friday's game vs. the Avalanche, and will not play Sunday. Noah Gregor will draw back into the lineup to replace him.
