NHL Hockey Player News

Brisson has been assigned to Hartford (AHL).

Brisson was drafted 29th overall by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, but has yet to make his presence felt at the NHL level. He has spent most of the 2025-26 season in the AHL, where he has 27 points (15G / 12A) in 49 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack. He has one assist in three games with the Rangers this season. Brett Beard has been recalled from Hartford in a corresponding move.

Brendan Brisson
Berard has been recalled from Hartford (AHL) on Tuesday.

Beard has gone scoreless in 13 games with the Rangers this season, but has spent most of the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL, where he has 22 points (6G / 16A) in 39 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack. Brendan Brisson has been assigned to Hartford in a corresponding move.

Brett Berard
Skinner was the first goalie off the ice at Pittsburgh's morning skate.

The Penguins have alternated goalies pretty evenly in recent weeks and will continue that trend on Tuesday, turning to Skinner against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 27-year-old Skinner was lightly tested in his previous outing and had a disappointing performance, allowing three goals on 15 shots (.800 SV%) in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Skinner has a concerning 3.31 GAA and .847 SV% in his last five games (1-1-3). The Penguins enter Tuesday's contest as +183 road underdogs against a Hurricanes team that has scored four or more goals in five of their last six games (4-2-0).

Stuart Skinner
Sturm will be a healthy scratch vs. Utah on Tuesday.

Marcus Johansson (upper body) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Utah Mammoth, resulting in Sturm being a healthy scratch. The 30-year-old Sturm scored a goal in Minnesota's previous game, giving him 10 points (4G / 6A) in 41 outings this season.

Nico Sturm
Johansson (upper-body) is expected to return vs. Utah on Tuesday.

Johansson has been sidelined with an upper-body injury for the past week, but he should return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Utah Mammoth. The 35-year-old Swedish forward has 39 points (13G / 26A) in 57 games this season, but has been held off the scoresheet in 13 of his last 19 games. Nico Sturm will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Johansson's return.

Marcus Johansson
Gustavsson will start vs. Utah on Tuesday.

Gustavsson was terrific in his most recent outing, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) in a 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights, and will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Utah Mammoth. The 27-year-old Swedish goalie looks rejuvenated after returning from the Olympic break, posting an impressive 1.52 GAA and .952 SV% in four games (3-1-0). Minnesota enters the action on Tuesday as -149 home favourites against a Utah team that defeated them 5-2 less than two weeks ago.

Filip Gustavsson
Hofer is in the starter's crease at St. Louis' morning skate on Tuesday.

Hofer was outstanding in the Blues' previous game, saving all 22 shots he faced for his career-best fifth shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks, and has been rewarded with another start on Tuesday against the New York Islanders. The 25-year-old Hofer has earned four of six starts since returning from the Olympic break and has been otherworldly in those outings, going 4-0-0 while posting a 1.00 GAA and .962 SV%. The Blues enter Tuesday's contest as slight +105 home underdogs against a New York Islanders team that has scored fewer than two goals in two of their last three games (1-2-0).

Joel Hofer
Hellebuyck will start vs. Anaheim on Tuesday

Hellebuyck has finished every season of his career with a record above .500, but he currently has a 16-16-9 record in a largely disappointing season. That said, the 32-year-old three-time Vezina-winning goalie has returned from his Gold Medal performance with Team USA at the Olympics with some of his most consistent goaltending of the season, posting a stellar 1.72 GAA and .931 SV% in his last four games (3-0-1). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as -130 home favourites against an Anaheim Ducks team that defeated them 5-4 less than two weeks ago.

Connor Hellebuyck
Crosby (lower-body) is on the ice for the morning skate but is not expected to return on Tuesday.

Crosby returned to practice last week and continues to make strides towards a return, but will miss at least one more game. The Penguins have managed to stay afloat without their scoring leader, going 3-2-2, but they will be eager to welcome him back into the lineup as they continue their late-season push to return to the postseason.

Sidney Crosby
Woll is expected to start in Montreal on Tuesday.

The Maple Leafs have effectively played themselves out of playoff contention, losing seven straight since the Olympic break (0-5-2), and will likely need a heroic effort from Woll to return them to the victory column. That said, the 27-year-old Woll has been hard-pressed for strong performances lately as well, including allowing five goals on 23 shots (.783 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 6-2 loss to the New York Rangers. The Maple Leafs enter Tuesday's contest as +149 road underdogs against a Montreal Canadiens team that has scored four or more goals in five of its last six games (3-1-2).

Joseph Woll
Brazeau was week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

Brazeau did not play in Pittsburgh's previous game and will remain sidelined on a week-to-week basis due to an upper-body injury. This will be the second time this season that Brazeau will have a prolonged absence due to an injury, which is an unfortunate loss for a team that is already without Evgeni Malkin (suspension) and Sidney Crosby (lower body). The 28-year-old Brazeau has been a surprising offensive contributor for Pittsburgh this season, scoring 30 points (16G / 14A) in 48 games.

Justin Brazeau
Oettinger is in the starter's crease at Dallas' morning skate.

Oettinger did little to impress in his previous game, allowing four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche. The 27-year-old Oettinger has had positive results lately, helping his team collect a point in nine straight outings (8-0-1), but has an underwhelming 2.72 GAA and .876 SV% in that span. The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -144 home favourites against the Vegas Golden Knights, a team they narrowly defeated 5-4 in their previous meeting, a game in which Oettinger allowed four goals on 21 shots (.810 SV%).

Jake Oettinger
Raddysh (personal) is out vs. Columbus on Tuesday.

Raddysh is tending to a personal matter and will not play on Tuesday, but will likely target a return on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 30-year-old Raddysh had three assists in Sunday's rollercoaster 8-7 loss to the Buffalo Sabres, giving him 16 points (5G / 11A in his last 13 games.

Darren Raddysh
Goncalves (lower-body) will return to Tampa Bay's lineup vs. Columbus on Tuesday.

Goncalves has not played since suffering a lower-body injury on February 28th, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 25-year-old Goncalves has been effective in mostly a middle-six role this season, averaging 12:11 time-on-ice and scoring 20 points (7G / 13A) in 54 games.

Gage Goncalves
Swayman will start vs. Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Swayman has been excellent since returning from representing Team USA at the Olympics, posting a tremendous 1.34 GAA and .946 SV% in three games (2-1-0). The 27-year-old goalie saved 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 3-1 win over the Washington Capitals. The Bruins enter the action on Tuesday as -148 home favourites against a Los Angeles Kings team that had a much-needed 5-4 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night to improve their record to 3-4-0 since the Olympic break.

Jeremy Swayman
Miller (upper-body) returned to New York's practice in a non-contract jersey on Tuesday.

Miller has not played since suffer an upper-body injury on March 2nd, but was back at practice in a non-contact jersey on Tuesday. He will not play on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames, but appears to be nearing a return. The Rangers have gone 2-1-0 without Miller, who was picking up production before his injury, scoring 14 points (3G / 11A) in his last 13 games.

J.T. Miller
Gudbranson (lower-body) will be out vs. Tampa Bay on Tuesday.

Gudbranson exited Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings after only 5:02 time-on-ice due to a lower-body injury and will remain sidelined on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 34-yer-old defenseman is averaging 17:51 time-on-ice and has three points (1G / 2A) in 21 games this season.

Erik Gudbranson
Quick will start vs. Calgary on Tuesday.

The Rangers are well above .500 when Igor Shesterkin starts (20-12-6) and would likely be in playoff contention if not for a prolonged injury, but, on the tail end of a back-to-back, they will turn to Jonathan Quick. The 40-year-old veteran Quick is sporting a miserable 4-15-2 record. He allowed five goals on 34 shots (.853 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 6-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils, and has lost 16 of his last 17 appearances (1-14-2) while posting an ugly 3.69 GAA and .874 SV%. Still, the Rangers enter Tuesday's contest as -131 home favourites against a Calgary Flames team that was defeated 7-3 by the Washington Capitals last night.

Jonathan Quick
Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off the ice at Tampa Bay's morning skate.

Vasilevskiy has battled some adversity lately, but he was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old goalie has only two wins in five games since the Olympic break (2-3-0), both against the struggling Maple Leafs, and has a dreadful 5.17 GAA and .813 SV% in outings against other teams (0-3-0). Still, Tampa Bay enters Monday's contest as significant -235 home favourites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that has lost four of seven games since the Olympic break (3-1-3).
