Johnson (neck) will be back in the Blackhawks lineup on Thursday.
Johnson has been out since October 29th with a neck injury, which he underwent surgery for in early December. Johnson had one goal and two assists in eight games before getting hurt. He'll return on a line with Jonathan Toews and Alex DeBrincat.
Toews (concussion) will return to the Blackhawks lineup on Thursday.
Toews missed the last 11 games with a concussion that he suffered in Detroit on January 26th. Toews, who has scored four goals and 15 assists (19 points) in 43 games this season, will centre the second line with Alex DeBrincat and Tyler Johnson, who also returns to the lineup on Thursday.
Ehlers (knee) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Ehlers has been sidelined with a knee injury since January 18th but was cleared for contact on Thursday, a big step towards him returning to the lineup. It seems possible that Ehlers could be back Friday vs. the Stars or Sunday vs. the Rangers. He skated on the third line with Adam Lowry and Andrew Copp in Thursday's session. Expect the Jets to provide an update after practice.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
