Montembeault stopped 33 of 36 shots (.917 SV%) in a 4-3 overtime loss to Winnipeg the last time he took the crease. He has had a very solid start to the season, posting a 2.47 GAA and .928 SV% along with his 2-1-1 record. He faces off against Vancouver, who despite their struggles rank fourth in the NHL in goals with 3.62 per game.

Blumel has been great for Texas prior to his promotion, scoring five goals and 11 points in his first nine games. He has yet to make his NHL debut so if he finds himself in Dallas' active lineup expect him to check that milestone off in the near future.

Murray will head back to Texas after getting recalled over a week ago after Jake Oettinger went down with injury. He will work on his solid AHL numbers as he left with a .926 SV% and 2.00 GAA through five games with Texas.

Hallander will make his season debut Wednesday after having a strong showing in Wilkes-Barre (AHL) where he had four goals and nine points in 10 games while playing strong defensively with a +7 plus/minus. He has one career NHL game prior to the promotion.

Janmark had four points (2G/2A) in four games prior to his promotion from Bakersfield (AHL) to Edmonton. The 29-year-old veteran has 158 points (66G/92A) in 420 career NHL games.

With the unfortunate news that Evander Kane will be on the LTIR, Klim Kostin earned his first promotion to the Edmonton OIlers Wednesday. In nine games with Bakersfield, the 2017 1st round pick (31st overall) has two goals and four points to go along with 15 PIMs.

Kane will miss 3 to 4 months after cutting his wrist on a skate in the Oilers' win over Tampa Bay Tuesday. The 31-year-old had been enjoying a strong start to the season with five goals and 13 points through his first 14 games played along with a +4 plus/minus.

The 2022 1st overall pick will head to the press box for two games after his dangerous boarding play on Detroit's Matt Luff Tuesday. Slafkovsky has yet to pick up his first NHL assist but has three goals and 19 PIMs through his first 10 career games.

Greenway returned from a trip to the injured reserve Tuesday, playing 14:38 and collecting a -1 rating as he eased his way back into the Wild lineup vs. Los Angeles. He is using Wednesday's day off for rest as the Wild do not want to push him with their back-to-back games.

Beckman played three games for the Wild last season, collecting one assist and a -1 plus/minus rating in his short stint. In eight games with Iowa (AHL) prior to his promotion, he had three goals and three assists with a +2 plus/minus.

Gustavsson stopped 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) taking the unfortunate 2-1 loss to Detroit his last time out on October 29th. The Wilds' backup has struggled in limited action this season, collecting a 0-3-0 record alongside his 3.92 GAA and .878 SV%. He draws the start against Anaheim who ranks in the bottom 10 in the NHL in both Goals (2.85) and SOG (29.2) per game.

McAvoy has not played this season as he recovered from eft shoulder arthroscopic stabilization surgery on June 3. McAvoy returns to the Bruins' lineup ahead of schedule and will likely slot right back in atop their top defensive pair and power-play unit. He finished 2021-22 with a career-high 10 goals and 56 points across 78 games while finishing with 21 PPP.



Neighbours has struggled so far with the Blues in 2022-23 prior to his demotion to Springfield (AHL), posting one goal and a -9 plus/minus rating through 11 games while averaging 12:20 ATOI.

Alexandrov will be called up to the Blues' lineup from Springfield (AHL) to add a spark as St.Louis finds itself in the middle of an eight-game losing streak. He has four goals and eight points in nine games with Springfield prior to his promotion and has never played in the NHL before his callup.

Brown took a hit from behind in Tuesday's game which led to him leaving the ice after just 5:55 TOI. The 2016 1st round pick (11th overall) has failed to pick up a point through five games so far this season while posting a -2 plus/minus rating.
