Robinson suffered an MCL sprain in his right knee on January 31st and will miss roughly six weeks. Brendan Gaunce was recalled from the AHL and will replace Robinson in the lineup on Tuesday. Cole Sillinger will take on a PK role in his absence.

Gaunce and Trey Fix-Wolansky will make their Blue Jackets debuts on Tuesday with both Eric Robinson and Emil Bemstrom unavailable. Gaunce was a first-round pick of the Canucks in 2012 and has 16 points (6G / 10A) in 118 career NHL games with Vancouver and Boston. He leads Cleveland in goals (16) and points (28) in 39 AHL games this season.

Maroon's new deal will keep him in Tampa through the 2023-24 season. The 33-year-old winger has scored seven goals with six assists (13 points) and 83 hits in 45 games this season.

Fix-Wolansky was a seventh-round pick in 2018 and is set to replace Emil Bemstrom (COVID-19) in the lineup on Tuesday. The 22-year-old has scored nine goals with eight assists (17 points) in 22 AHL games this season.

Bemstrom will not be available for Tuesday's game in Washington, so Trey Fix-Wolansky was recalled from the AHL and is expected to make his NHL debut.

Brown was the No.11 overall pick in 2016 but had a tough time finding a permanent spot in the Senators' lineup. He was traded to St. Louis for Zach Sanford in late September and has six points (3G / 3A) in 17 games with the Blues. During his time in the AHL, he registered 17 points (6G / 111A) in 19 games.

Wedgewood did not travel to Vancouver with the team after suffering an upper-body injury in Monday's practice. With Wedgewood out, Ivan Prosvetov was recalled from Tucson (AHL) and will likely serve as Karel Vejmelka's backup on Tuesday.

Ovechkin missed the final game before the All-Star break but has cleared COVID-19 protocol and is expected to play Tuesday vs. the Blue Jackets. However, he will not be eligible to travel to Montreal for Thursday's game.

Bortuzzo was set to become a UFA at the end of the season but gets $950K AAV on his new two-year contract. Bortuzzo doesn't provide a lot of offence but is a rugged, penalty-killing defenseman for the Blues. Bortuzzo leads the team in Hits/60 (7.91) and is second in Blk/60 (5.04) in 37 games this season.

Armia missed seven games while in COVID-19 protocol but was on the ice for Monday's practice and is expected to play Tuesday vs. the Devils. Armia skated in the bottom-6 in Monday's session and has not scored a goal in 16 games.

Caufield missed seven games while in COVID-19 protocol but was on the ice for Monday's practice and is expected to play Tuesday vs. the Devils. Caufield skated in the bottom-6 in Monday's session and has not scored a goal in 12 games.

Dvorak missed the final three games prior to the All-Star break but may be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Dvorak skated as the No.3 centre in Monday's session, a good sign that he'll play vs. New Jersey.

Foligno skated on the fourth line in Monday's practice session and may be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Foligno has picked ups just one goal and six assists (seven points) in 26 games this season.

Mike Smith will start Tuesday vs. Vegas but Skinner will likely start Wednesday with Mikko Koskinen landing in COVID-19 protocol. Skinner has gone 8-0-2 with a 1.97 GAA and .928 SV% in 10 AHL games and 5-6-0 with a 2.85 GAA and .908 SV% in 12 NHL games this season.

Koskinen will not be available for the Oilers' next three games, including a back-to-back on Tuesday/Wednesday. The Oilers will get Mike Smith back from injury and Stuart Skinner was recalled from Bakersfield, so look for them to split the back-to-back vs. Vegas and Chicago.
