Markstrom was perfect in his last start, stopping 40 of 40 shots for his first shutout of the season as he blanked the Minnesota wild in a 1-0 shootout win last start. The 33-year-old has struggled all season and is hoping the shutout is a sign of a change of tides, as he has a 17-17-8 record, 2,89 GAA and .893 SV%. Murphy has five goals, five assists, 62 SOG, 56 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 64 games played with Chicago but is not expected to be available Friday due to personal reasons. It will be the first game this season the 29-year-old will miss.

Duclair was held out of Thursday's practice because he was under the weather and will not play in Friday's game vs. Chicago. Since Duclair can't go, look for Sam Reinhart to move back up to the top line with Aleksander Barkov.
