Wolanin has three assists in three games with Ontario this season. He went to Buffalo via waivers briefly but returned to the Kings in the same fashion. He was recalled to serve as the No.7 defenseman because Alex Edler was moved to IR on Sunday.
Edler was hurt early in Saturday's game vs. the Wild after going down very awkwardly. Edler could not put any weight on his leg as he was leaving the field, so it's not a surprise that he landed on IR. Christian Wolanin was recalled from the AHL to take Edler's spot on the roster.
Entwistle has two goals and one assist in 12 games with the Blackhawks this season. During his brief stint in the AHL, he picked up one assist in two games. Entwistle skated on the Blackhawks' second line with Jonathan Toews and Brandon Hagel on Monday.
