DeSmith will start Monday in Seattle.
Jarnkrok (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Monday.
Jarnkrok has been out since November 24th but could return to the lineup on Monday. Jarnkrok skated on the fourth line in Monday's morning skate and comes in with just one goal and one assist in 14 games.
Schwartz (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Monday.
Schwartz has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision vs. the Penguins. Schwartz skated on the top line with Yanni Gourde and Jordan Eberle (who is also a game-time decision) in the session.
Eberle (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Monday.
Eberle has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision vs. the Penguins. Eberle skated on the top line with Yanni Gourde and Jaden Schwartz (who is also a game-time decision) in the session.

The Canucks have recalled Travis Hamonic from Abbotsford (AHL).
Hamonic has been getting sent down when the Canucks travelled but he's now fully vaccinated and should remain with the team moving forward. Hamonic has one assist in seven games with the Canucks.
The Red Wings recalled Daniel Renouf from Grand Rapids (AHL).
Renouf returns to Detroit to try and help replace Marc Staal, who landed on the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday. Renouf has three assists in 20 career NHL games with Detroit.
Line Change
Mete will draw into the Senators lineup on Monday.
Mete was a healthy scratch vs. the Avalanche on Saturday but will replace Dillon Heatherington in the lineup on Monday. Mete has five assists and a minus-11 rating in 15 games this season.
Heatherington will not play on Monday due to being in close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
Heatherington will come out of the Senators lineup as a precautionary measure. Victor Mete will draw back into the lineup to replace him.
Toffoli (upper-body) is expected to miss a few weeks.
Toffoli was missing from Monday's practice session and head coach Dominique Ducharme said he's expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. Laurent Dauphin was recalled from the AHL to try and help replace Toffoli.
The Predators have recalled Ben Harpur from his conditioning loan with Milwaukee (AHL).
Harpur failed to record a point in six games with the Admirals. The 26-year-old defenseman has appeared in four games with the Predators this season, failing to record a point with a minus-6 rating.
The Predators have recalled Matt Luff from Milwaukee (AHL).
Luff spent the first few years of his career in the Kings organization but signed with the Predators this offseason. Luff has scored even goals with nine assists (16 points) in 200 AHL games with Milwaukee this season. He has 10 goals and seven assists (17 points) in 64 career NHL games.
Byram (head) has returned to Colorado.
Byram continues to battle an issue with his head, so he was sent back to Colorado, presumably to receive more treatment. Kurtis MacDermid will play Monday with Byram still out.
Klingberg (illness) will be back in the Stars lineup on Monday.
Klingberg was scratched from the Stars lineup last Tuesday but had plenty of time to get back healthy. Klingberg, who comes in with no goals and seven assists in 16 games, should be back on the top power-play unit vs. the Coyotes.
Kero will draw into the Stars lineup on Monday.
Kero has not played an NHL game since November 2nd. He spent the last month in the AHL, where he had two assists in three games. Overall, Kero has two assists in seven games with the Stars.
Raffl (illness) will not play on Monday vs. the Coyotes.
Raffl missed Sunday's practise and will miss Monday's game vs. the Coyotes with a non-COVID illness. Tanner Kero will be back in the Stars lineup to replace Raffl.
Henrique (lower-body) did not travel to Washington for Monday's game.
Henrique suffered a lower-body injury vs. the Flames on Friday and did not travel with the team as they started their five-game road trip. It seems likely that he will miss the entire week. Buddy Robinson will make his Ducks debut in Henrique's place.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
