The Red Wings have recalled Dan Renouf from Grand Rapids (AHL).
With Troy Stecher landing on IR, Renouf comes up to give the Red Wings another defenseman. The 27-year-old has just two assists in 11 AHL games this season and just three assists in 19 career NHL games with the Red Wings.

Carlsson will draw back into the Panthers lineup on Wednesday.
Carlsson has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Kevin Connauton in the lineup on Wednesday. Carlsson has just one assist in three games this season.
Barkov (lower-body) is expected to miss at least 1-to-2 more weeks.
Barkov remains week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Head coach Andrew Brunette said that Barkov is skating and that they're reassessing him daily, but he's still likely a week or two away from returning.

The Capitals have recalled Beck Malenstyn from Hershey (AHL).
The Capitals sent Axel Jonsson Fjällby to the AHL yesterday to preserve his waiver exempt status, so Malenstyn and Michael Sgarbossa come up to help replace T.J. Oshie and Conor Sheary. Malenstyn has scored one goal with two assists in 15 games this season.

Point is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks with an upper-body injury.
The Lightning called him week-to-week earlier in the day but he must have undergone further evaluation since. Point was hurt when he was tripped on a breakaway and crashed into the end boards on Saturday. Don't expect to see him back in the lineup until after Christmas.
Beagle is expected to miss at least one week with a lower-body injury.
Beagle suffered a lower-body injury in Los Angeles on Saturday and will not play this week. There has been no mention of a call-up to replace Beagle.
Sekera (illness) will return to the Stars lineup on Tuesday.
Sekera missed Saturday's game vs. the Blues but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Oilers. Sekera has picked up just one assist in 11 games this season.

Kurashev will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
Kurashev played just 6:25 TOI on Sunday and will be scratched tonight after "too many turnovers lately" according to head coach Derek King.

Johnson was a healthy scratch in Vancouver but will replace Philipp Kurashev in the lineup in Calgary. Johnson has no points and a minus-5 rating in 10 games this season.

Jones was a healthy scratch in Vancouver on Sunday but will replace Riley Stillman, who was placed on IR, in the lineup in Calgary. Jones has no points while averaging 13:14 TOI in two games this season.

Ryan (concussion) will return to the Oilers lineup on Tuesday.
Ryan has missed the last two games with a concussion that he suffered in a collision with Mark Scheifele on November 16th. Ryan will be back on the Oilers' fourth line and comes into Tuesday with one goal and a minus-10 rating in 15 games.
The Islanders have recalled Thomas Hickey from Bridgeport (AHL).
With the Islanders COVID-19 outbreak continuing with Zdeno Chara being added to the protocol list on Tuesday, Hickey comes up from the AHL. He has just one assist in nine AHL games this season.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
