Shore will be the odd-man out on Friday as the Wild opt to shake up their forward lineup. Brendan Gaunce will draw into the lineup in his place.

Gaunce will slot in for Devin Shore, who is a healthy scratch. Gaunce has played in five games this season and is yet to register a point.

The Wild will turn to Gustavsson between the pipes for the 39th time this season when they travel to Denver on Friday. Gustavsson had a rare off night in his last outing, allowing three goals on 16 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Red Wings on Tuesday. The 26-year-old netminder owns a 22-12-3 record and a .914 SV% on the season. Gustavsson will have his hands full on Friday as the Wild enter action at +265 on the money line.

Merrill will slot in for Zach Bogosian, who was a late scratch due to a lower-body injury. Merrill has one goal and three assists in 48 games this season.

Bogosian was a late scratch on Friday, with the Wild not announcing his absence prior to warmups. Jon Merrill will draw into the lineup in his place.

The Kings had David Rittich between the pipes in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks and will return to Kuemper on Friday against the Dallas Stars. Kuemper was solid in his most recent outing, saving 21 of 23 shots (.913 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights. The 34-year-old Kuemper has a 2.21 GAA and .917 SV% in 31 games this season (18-6-6). The Kings enter Friday's contest as +115 road underdogs against a Stars club coming off a disappointing 6-4 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Miller is battling an illness and did not practice on Thursday but could return to action on Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old Miller has 44 points (14G / 30A) in 48 games this season and has been impressive since being traded to the Rangers, scoring nine points (5G / 4A) in eight contests.

Miller exited Tuesday's 5-1 win over the New York Islanders with only 10:13 time-on-ice due to a lower-body injury, but could return to the lineup on Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 25-year-old Miller is averaging 21:44 time-on-ice, recording 14 points (4G / 10A) and 80 hits in 52 games this season.
