Manson has been sidelined since January 29th but is set to play Saturday in New Jersey. Manson will likely replace Andrej Sustr in the lineup and comes in with just seven points (3G / 4A) in 43 games this season.

Lundestrom missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but travelled to New Jersey and is expected to play Saturday. Lundestrom will likely replace Danny O'Regan in the lineup.

Girard suffered a lower-body injury in New Jersey on Tuesday and will be out until early-to-mid April. With Girard out for an extended period of time, expect the Avalanche to dip into their organizational depth for a defenseman.

Landeskog has been dealing with a nagging knee injury for "a little bit." He'll undergo surgery and the Avalanche are hopeful that he'll be back for the start of the playoffs but they will know more after the surgery. This is obviously a terrible blow for the Avalanche but they are virtually locked into the playoffs, so they will give Landeskog the opportunity to get right ahead of what they hope is a lengthy playoff run.

Head coach Rod Brind'Amour said that Jarvis is dealing with a bit of a hip issue. He will take part in warmups and they will make a decision on his status from there.

Archibald missed the first five and a half months of the season with lingering effects from COVID-19. Archibald will skate on a line with Brad Malone and Zack Kassian if he's able to play.

Zegras missed Thursday's game in Nashville but is expected to replace Sam Steel in the lineup on Saturday. Zegras has played very well as of late, scoring four goals with six assists (10 points) in his last nine games.

With Braden Holtby unavailable, Scheel will backup Oettinger vs. the Rangers. The 22-year-old netminder has gone 7-6-6 with a 2.91 GAA and .901 SV% in 22 AHL games this season.

The Stars have recalled Adam Scheel from Texas (AHL) to serve as Jake Oettinger's backup while Holtby sits out due to a lower-body injury. Holtby is considered day-to-day.

Tufte played in three straight games with the Stars but was sent back to the AHL to make room to call-up Adam Scheel from the AHL. Scheel is needed to serve as Jake Oettinger's backup with Braden Holtby dealing with an injury. Jacob Peterson will replace Tufte in the Stars' bottom-6.

Peterson has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Riley Tufte in the Stars' bottom-6 on Saturday. Peterson has scored nine goals with three assists (12 points) in 47 games this season.

Fischer is questionable to play Saturday in Boston due to an upper-body injury. If he's unable to play, Hudson Fasching will draw into the lineup for the first time since November 30th.

Wolanin will take Andreas Athanasiou's spot on the roster after Athanasiou was moved to IR with an undisclosed injury. Wolanin has 11 assists in 24 AHL games this season.

Athanasiou's injury could not have come at a worse time for the 27-year-old. Athanasiou recently replaced Viktor Arvidsson on the Kings' second line and has scored goals in three straight games, totalling four goals with one assist in that stretch.
