The Kraken have claimed Dennis Cholowski off of waivers from the Capitals.
Cholowski was picked by the Kraken in the expansion draft but they lost him to the Capitals on waivers in October. Re-claiming him means they are able to send him to the AHL. Cholowski has one assist in seven games this season.
Holtby (lower-body) will serve as the Stars backup on Wednesday.
Holtby has not played since January 28th but will be available as a backup on Wednesday. Holtby could start later this week, either Friday vs. the Jets or Sunday vs. the Avalanche.
Kiviranta (lower-body) will play Wednesday vs. the Predators.
Kiviranta missed the last game before the All-Star break due to a lower-body injury but is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Kiviranta, who will skate in the Stars' bottom-6 has just four points (1G / 3A) in 35 games this season.
Robertson (eye) will play Wednesday vs. the Predators.
Robertson was sent home on Tuesday to treat an eye infection but was on the ice for Wednesday's morning skate and is expected to play vs. Nashville. Robertson comes in with nine goals and 12 assists (21 points) in his last 16 games.
Line Change
Connolly will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday.
Connolly played in three straight games but will be replaced by Josiah Slavin, who was called up from the AHL after the All-Star break. Connolly has not registered a point in seven games this season.
Gustafsson will come out of the Blackhawks lineup on Wednesday.
Gustafsson played in 10 straight games but will be replaced by Jakub Galvas in the lineup on Wednesday. Gustafsson had registered one goal and six assists (seven points) in his previous 10 games.
Slavin will draw into the Blackhawks lineup on Wednesday.
Slavin was called up from Rockford (AHL) after the All-Star break and will play in his 11th career NHL game on Wednesday. The 23-year-old forward will replace Brett Connolly in the lineup and has one assist in his first 10 games.
Line Change
Galvas will draw into the Blackhawks lineup on Wednesday.
Galvas was called up from Rockford (AHL) after the All-Star break and will play in his fourth career NHL game on Wednesday. The 22-year-old, who has one goal and eight assists (nine points) in 28 AHL games, will replace Erik Gustafsson on the blueline.

Fleury will start Wednesday in Edmonton.
Matthews (upper-body) will play Thursday in Calgary.
Matthews was forced to leave Monday's game after taking an accidental knee to the head from Brett Pesce but was on the ice for Wednesday's practice and says he'll play Thursday.
Bergeron (upper-body) will not play Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.
Bergeron suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday's loss to the Penguins and will miss at least one game. This is a huge blow for the Bruins, who will most likely also be without Brad Marchand due to a suspension. Without Bergeron or Marchand, Charlie Coyle and Jake DeBrusk moved up into the top-6 in Wednesday's practice.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
