Pacioretty will be scratched for a second straight game on Wednesday, meaning Mattias Janmark will remain in the top-6 and Peyton Krebs will remain in the lineup. Pacioretty's injury is not believed to be serious, so holding him out is likely more precautionary.

Johansson has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury but will be a game-time decision on Wednesday. Johansson would likely replace Nick Bjugstad or Nico Sturm and skate on a line with Victor Rask and Kevin Fiala if he plays.

Sissons missed Monday's game in Columbus but could be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Sissons will most likely replace Brad Richardson if he is able to play.

Fabbro has been out since April 6th but could be back in the lineup Wednesday in Columbus. Fabbro scored two goals and nine assists (11 points) in 38 games this season. He will likely replace Alexandre Carrier if he can play.

Tarasenko re-aggravated his lower-body injury and will not play Wednesday. This will be the third time in four games that Tarasenko is unavailable. Look for Zach Sanford to move up and play with Tyler Bozak and Jaden Schwartz.

Gurianov was questionable for Monday's game but was able to suit up. On Wednesday it looks as if the opposite will be true. Expect Joel Kiviranta to move up and skate with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.

Dickinson missed Monday's game with a lower-body injury that he suffered on Saturday. Dickinson will most likely replace Rhett Gardner in the lineup and centre the fourth line if he plays on Wednesday.

Schultz missed Monday's game in New York but could be available for Wednesday's rematch. Schultz took part in the morning skate, which is typically a good sign for his availability tonight but he remains a game-time decision.

Ovechkin tried to return to the lineup on Monday but only lasted one shift. He'll continue to sit out on Wednesday, potentially leaving the Capitals shorthanded upfront.

Oshie missed Monday's game after the passing of his father but will be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Oshie has played some really good hockey over the last month or so, scoring 11 goals with eight assists (19 points) in his last 19 games.
