He takes on the St.Louis Blues who have won eight of their last 10 games after a 5-4 overtime win vs. Florida in their previous game.

Skinner allowed five goals on 28 shots (.821 SV%) in his worst start of the season vs. New Jersey in a loss his last time out. The 24-year-old has been incredibly solid this season as shown by his .921 SV%, 2.78 GAA and 4-5-0 record. He will face off against the Florida Panthers who have lost four of their last five games and lead the NHL in shots on goal per game by averaging 40.2 a night.

Schmid will miss Monday's game due to illness and Nico Daws has been recalled from the AHL to backup the Devils' crease while Schmid is out. The 22-year-old has been sensational in limited starts prior to the illness, posting a perfect 4-0-0 record alongside his 1.24 GAA and .953 SV%.

Thomas left Saturday's game vs. Florida due to a lower-body injury and will not play Monday due to it being a day-to-day injury. The 23-year-old was having a solid season prior to the injury, scoring four goals and adding 19 points with a -7 plus/minus and 32 SOG through 21 games played.

Gaudreau missed Sunday's team skate due to illness and is a game-time decision Monday as the Blue Jackets take on the Golden Knights. Columbus' star winger will be missed if forced out as he has seven goals and 20 points through 20 games in his first season with the Blue Jackets.

Konecny has not played since leaving the Flyers' contest vs. Boston due to an upper-body injury on Nov. 17th and was placed on the injured reserve Monday. It is a massive loss Philadelphia as at the time of injury Konecny was leading the team in both goals (7) and points (19) through 17 games played.
