The 24-year-old has been incredibly solid this season as shown by his .921 SV%, 2.78 GAA and 4-5-0 record. He will face off against the Florida Panthers who have lost four of their last five games and lead the NHL in shots on goal per game by averaging 40.2 a night.
Schmid will miss Monday's game due to illness and Nico Daws has been recalled from the AHL to backup the Devils' crease while Schmid is out. The 22-year-old has been sensational in limited starts prior to the illness, posting a perfect 4-0-0 record alongside his 1.24 GAA and .953 SV%.
Teravainen has been out since Nov. 10th due to an upper-body injury but should be back soon as he joins the team on their upcoming four-game road trip. The 29-year-old had yet to score prior to his injury but has seven assists and 32 SOG through 14 games.
Faulk missed the morning skate because he and his wife had a baby this morning but he is expected to play vs. the Stars. Faulk enters play with 15 points (4G / 11A) in 21 games this season.
Allen allowed seven goals on 38 shots (.816 SV%) in his worst start of the season his last time out; a loss to Buffalo. The 32-year-old has been horrific this season as shown by his 3.62 GAA, .891 SV% and 6-7-0 record. He takes on the lowly San Jose Sharks who have lost five of their last six games and rank 20th in the NHL in goals per game (2.96).
Thomas left Saturday's game vs. Florida due to a lower-body injury and will not play Monday due to it being a day-to-day injury. The 23-year-old was having a solid season prior to the injury, scoring four goals and adding 19 points with a -7 plus/minus and 32 SOG through 21 games played.
Binnington allowed four goals on 26 shots (.846 SV%) in a loss to Tampa his last time out. He has been up and down this season with a 9-7-0 record, .901 SV% and 3.05 GAA. He takes on the Dallas Stars who are 1st in the Central Division but have lost three of their last four games.

Gaudreau missed Sunday's team skate due to illness and is a game-time decision Monday as the Blue Jackets take on the Golden Knights. Columbus' star winger will be missed if forced out as he has seven goals and 20 points through 20 games in his first season with the Blue Jackets.
Konecny has not played since leaving the Flyers' contest vs. Boston due to an upper-body injury on Nov. 17th and was placed on the injured reserve Monday. It is a massive loss Philadelphia as at the time of injury Konecny was leading the team in both goals (7) and points (19) through 17 games played.
