Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick can only improve after allowing five goals on only 18 shots (.722 SV%) in his last start, a loss against the Winnipeg Jets. The 36-year-old veteran has struggled mightily in 2022-23, amassing a .878 SV% and 3.81 GAA while picking up a 2-4-0 record. He takes on the St. Louis Blues, who have struggled to put pucks in the net, ranking 29th in the NHL in GF/GP with 2.57.

Nedeljkovic led the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Nedeljkovic will be looking to bounce back after a six-goal, 35-save (.854 SV%) loss against the New Jersey Devils his last time out. Nedeljkovic has struggled this season as he has taken a back seat to Ville Husson. He hopes to improve his ugly .890 SV% and 3.96 GAA. He faces an offensively strong Sabres team coming off a 4-3 overtime win over Chicago. Buffalo surprisingly ranks 5th in the NHL in goals for per game (3.63).

Comrie led the Sabres onto the ice for warmups.

Comrie will take the crease after losing his last start 3-2 off a 31-save (.912 SV%) performance vs. Montreal. He will attempt to improve his ugly 3.41 GAA and build off his .909 SV% through five games. Comrie takes on the Red Wings Monday, who have struggled to score lately, as they have not put up more than two goals in any of their last three games.

David Krejci has been placed on the injured reserve (upper body)

Krejci missed the Bruins' last game Friday due to an upper-body injury and it was announced Monday he would be placed on the injured reserve. Krejci was enjoying a resurgent comeback after taking last season off, with eight points (2G/6A) in his first eight games to start the 2022-23 season.

Kaapo Kahkonen will start Tuesday vs. Anaheim

Kahkonen is coming off his first victory of the season, stopping 22 of 25 shots (.880 SV%) as the Sharks took a 4-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs his last time out. The Finnish netminder has struggled this season, posting a 3.33 GAA and a .875 SV% across four games played. Kahkonen will face a Ducks team who just snapped a seven-game losing streak Sunday in a 4-3 overtime win over Toronto Sunday.

Jamie Drysdale suffered a torn labrum and will be out for approximately 4-6 months.

The Anaheim Ducks announced Monday that defenseman Jamie Drysdale will be out for approximately 4-6 months with a torn labrum after suffering the injury during last Friday's game vs. Vegas. It is a tough likely end to the season for the Ducks' 2020 1st round pick (6th overall) who had yet to acquire a point through eight games in his third NHL season.

Jamie Drysdale
Laurent Brossoit was assigned to Henderson (AHL) for LTIR conditioning loan

Brossoit will head to Henderson of the AHL for an LTIR conditioning loan Monday. It is great news for the eight-year veteran who has 42 wins, a 2.84 GAA and a .905 career save percentage. Vegas has eight wins through their first 10 games so will be in no rush to bring the veteran back.

Laurent Brossoit
Binnington will start Monday vs. the Kings.

Binnington is coming off a horrific start Saturday where he allowed six goals on 24 shots (.750 SV%) to earn his second loss in as many starts. The up-and-down netminder will be hoping to raise his .903 SV% and lower his 2.60 GAA, unlike what he has done in his last two starts. They will take on the LA Kings, who are coming off a 4-2 victory over Toronto and have scored four goals in each of their last three games.

Jordan Binnington
Brock Boeser is close to returning and will be a game-time decision vs. the Devils

Boeser has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury since last week which has caused him to miss the Canucks last three games. Through six games so far this season, he has four assists and is a -3 plus/minus rating. His return will be much-needed positive news for the 2-5-2 Vancouver Canucks.

Brock Boeser
Jake Oettinger will be out at least a week with injury before being re-evaluted

The Stars' starter was removed from the second period of Dallas' game Saturday vs. New York due to a lower-body injury. Jim Nill has confirmed the goaltender will be out for at least a week before being re-evaluated. It will be a massive loss for the Stars as Oettinger was having his best season to date, amassing a 5-1-0 record to go along with his 1.40 GAA and .952 SV%.
