Gusev has not played since January 31st but will return to the Devils lineup Sunday in Washington. It's unclear who he will replace or who he will play with but he will be looking to improve on his sluggish start to the season--one assist in nine games.
Chabot (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
Chabot missed Thursday's game in Toronto and Saturday's practice but head coach DJ Smith did not rule him out vs. the Canadiens. If he misses another game, expect Erik Brannstrom and Mike Reilly to man the power-play units.
Hogberg is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with a lower-body injury.
Hogberg came out of Thursday's loss in Toronto with a lower-body injury that he suffered midway through the first period. With Hogberg out for at least one week, Joey Daccord will serve as Matt Murray's backup and could make his first career NHL start.
Dubois (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
Dubois practiced on Saturday and could be back in the Jets lineup on Sunday. Dubois has missed the last four games and hasn't played much this season after being forced to quarantine following his trade from Columbus and now this injury. head coach Paul Maurice said that they would "monitor his minutes a little bit" but it doesn't sound like he'll be limited too much.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
