Chinakhov suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday's game in Boston and will not play in the rematch on Monday. Carson Meyer will make his NHL debut to replace Chinakhov.

Meyer was a sixth-round pick in 2017 and is set to make his NHL debut on Monday. Meyer is an Ohio native, who hasn't left the state. He played two years at Miami (Ohio) University, two years at Ohio State and is in his second year with Cleveland (AHL). HE scored 16 goals with 11 assists (27 points) in 57 games with Cleveland this season.

Werenski missed the last three games with an upper-body injury but will play Monday vs. the Bruins. Werenski will be back on the top pair with Andrew Peeke and the top power-play unit. Werenski has tallied 17 points (4G / 13A) in his last 18 games.

Heineman was originally a second-round pick of the Panthers in 2020. He was traded to Calgary as part of the Sam Bennett trade and then traded to Montreal as a part of the Tyler Toffoli trade. The 20-year-old winger scored 11 goals with five assists (16 points) in 38 games with Leksands IF (SHL) this season.
