Minten was a healthy scratch for the Maple Leafs on Saturday and was assigned back to the Marlies (AHL) on Monday. The 20-year-old Minten is averaging 12:14 time-on-ice and has four points (2G / 2A) in 15 games with the Maple Leafs this season. Dakota Mermis was recalled from the Marlies in a corresponding move.

Mayfield exited Saturday's 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning after only 10:03 time-on-ice due to a lower-body injury and did not play on Sunday. The 32-year-old Mayfield is averaging 17:33 time-on-ice and has seven points (2G / 5A) in 50 games this season. The Islanders return to action on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Barzal is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

Barzal did not play in New York's 6-3 loss to the Florida Panthers on Sunday and will be sidelined indefinitely due to a lower-body injury. The 27-year-old Barzal has already missed significant time this season due to injuries and has only played 30 games, scoring 20 points (6G / 14A).

Marchenko underwent surgery to repair a broken jaw and is out indefinitely.

An arrant puck hit and broke Marchenko's jaw while he was sitting on the bench in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Dallas Stars. No timeline has been provided but the average downtime after a broken jaw is typically six-to-eight weeks. The 24-year-old Marchenko was having a breakout season, scoring 55 points (21G / 34A) in 53 games.

Bourque (upper-body) is having additional tests on Monday but is not expected to have a serious injury.

Bourque was hit in the face with a puck in the third period on Sunday, leaving a pool of blood behind him before exiting the playing surface. Dallas head coach Pete DeBoer was optimistic after the game, indicating that the injury looked worse than it actually was and that Bourque will likely travel with the team on their upcoming six-game road trip. The 23-year-old Bourque has started to find his game at the NHL level, with seven points (4G / 3A) in his last 14 games after only scoring seven (2G / 5A) in his first 33.

Haula has not played since January 4th due to an ankle injury but has been practicing the past several days and will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
