Riikola will travel to Ottawa for Saturday's game and will likely play because Chad Ruhwedel and Marcus Pettersson are ineligible to travel to Canada.

Dineen played in three straight games, firing six shots and going minus-3 in 16:24 ATOI. Dineen will be replaced by Kyle Capobianco, who is making his season debut.

Capobianco missed the first 13 games of the season with a lower-body injury but will replace Cam Dineen in the lineup on Friday. Capobianco has one goal in 14 career NHL games with the Coyotes.

Jaskin has played in the last 10 games but will be replaced by Alex Galchenyuk (upper-body) in the lineup on Friday. Jaskin dominated the KHL last season but has just one assist in 11 games this season.

Galchenyuk missed the first 13 games of the season with an upper-body injury that he suffered late in the pre-season. Galchenyuk, who will replace Dmitrij Jaskin in the lineup, had five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 34 games with the Maple Leafs and Senators last season.


Simek has missed the last six games while on the COVID-19 reserve list but should be back in the lineup on Saturday. With Simek back, Nicolas Meloche was reassigned to the AHL.

Meier has missed the last five games while on the COVID-19 reserve list but should be back in the lineup on Saturday. With Meier back, John Leonard was reassigned to the AHL.
