Stephenson will come out of the Golden Knights lineup on Friday due to personal reasons. With Stephenson out, Nicolas Roy should move up to the top line with Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty.

Compher has missed the last 11 games with an upper-body injury but is set to play Friday vs. the Red Wings. Compher will replace Nazem Kadri, who is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Compher has scored five goals with four assists (nine points) in 12 games this season.

Kadri will miss Friday's game vs. the Red Wings due to a lower-body injury that he suffered on Wednesday. Luckily for the Avalanche, they will get JT Compher back on Friday to replace Kadri in the top-6. Andre Burakovsky will take Kadri's spot on the top power-play unit.

The Sabres do not have a timetable on Mittelstadt but believe he could be back before the end of the season. Mittelstadt has played just four games this season.

Tarasov went 0-2-0 while allowing just five goals on 78 shots (.936 SV%) in his first two career NHL games. The 22-year-old returns to the AHL with Joonas Korpisalo (illness) activated from IR. Tarasov is 5-2-2 with a 2.96 GAA and .897 SV% in nine AHL games this season.

Korpisalo missed five games with an illness but was activated from IR on Friday morning. He will most likely serve as Elvis Merzlikins' backup on Saturday.

Schmid was a fifth-round pick (No.136 overall) in 2018 and has been terrific in his first professional season. The 21-year-old has gone 8-0-2 with a 1.60 GAA and .944 SV% in 10 starts with Utica. He will likely serve as Mackenzie Blackwood's backup on Friday.

It's unclear when Bernier suffered a lower-body injury, as he has not started since December 3rd. Akira Schmid was recalled from Utica (AHL) to take Bernier's spot on the roster for Friday's game.

Juulsen has scored one goal in 17 AHL games this season and could be set to make his Canucks debut on Friday. Juulsen will replace Travis Hamonic (lower-body) on the roster and will play if Oliver Ekman-Larsson remains sidelined.

Hamonic suffered a lower-body injury mid-way through Wednesday's win over the Bruins. He was moved to IR on Thursday, opening up a roster spot for Noah Juulsen to be called up from the AHL.

Mittelstadt will see a specialist on Friday to determine the severity of his upper-body injury. Expect the Sabres to provide a detailed timeline within the next 24 hours.

Beagle has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but is set to play Friday vs. the Panthers. Beagle will centre the third line with Antoine Roussel and Loui Eriksson and comes in with no points and a minus-12 rating in 19 games.
