O'Connor played in seven straight games, posting one goal on eight shots (12.5 SH%) with a plus-3 rating and two PIMS. HIs return to the AHL bodes well for Gabriel Landeskog, who is a game-time decision for Thursday's game.

Maatta missed Wednesday's practice and is questionable to play Thursday in Boston. If Maatta can't play, look for Dennis Gilbert to draw into the Blackhawks lineup.

Hamonic missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but will play Thursday vs. the Sabres. Hamonic has one goal and three assists in 23 games this season.

Tennyson was hurt early in Tuesday's game vs. the Golden Knights and his move to IR means that he will miss at least two games.

Radulov has been held pointless in his last four games and has taken a penalty in three of the four. Head coach Jim Montgomery told reporters that scratching Radulov is "doing what we think is best for the Dallas Stars." With Radulov out, Justin Dowling will be back on the Stars top-line between Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.

Strome has missed the last four games with a concussion but will play Thursday in Boston. Strome will be back on the second-line with Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane and re-enters the lineup with 17 points (5G / 12A) in 23 games.

Everything remains pretty quiet on the Bergeron injury front, but head coach Bruce Cassidy is hopeful he'll be back at practice on Friday. If that's the case, it would open the door for a possible return to the lineup Saturday vs. the Avalanche.

Clifton was in the lineup for the last three games but will take a seat with John Moore (shoulder) set to make his season debut.

Moore missed the first 28 games of the season but is set to make his season debut after a one-game conditioning stint with Providence (AHL). Moore will replace Connor Clifton in the lineup but does not bring very much offensive upside to the Bruins' third-pair.

Price allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Canadiens win over the Islanders on Tuesday. Cayden Primeau got the front-end of the Thursday/Friday back-to-back, which leaves Price to face the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Price has gone 4-3-2 with a 2.96 GAA and .915 SV% on the road this season and gave up six goals on 34 shots in a 6-5 loss in his first start against New York (Nov.23) this season.

Menell, 22, was an undrafted free agent, who is in his third year with Iowa. The 22-year-old defenseman has two goals and 17 assists to lead all Iowa D-men with 19 points in 23 games this season. He is now the seventh defenseman with Jared Spurgeon out and will likely make his NHL debut in the near future.
