Bernier is in the starter's crease at the Red Wings morning skate.

Bernier allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Red Wings' loss in New Jersey on Saturday. Bernier has lost three consecutive games while allowing a combined 11 goals on 97 shots (.887 SV%). The Maple Leafs have improved under new head coach Sheldon Keefe and possess plenty of offensive talent, so leave Bernier on the bench/free agency tonight.

Jonathan Bernier
Elliott will start Wednesday in Columbus.

Elliott allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Flyers win in Carolina last Thursday. Elliott has carved out a larger role as of late and has been strong in November, going 2-0-2 with a 2.34 GAA and .924 SV%. He draws a tough assignment on Wednesday, as the Blue Jackets come in as winners of four of their last five while scoring 3.40 goals per game.

The NHL has suspended Erik Cernak for two games for elbowing Rasmus Darlin on Monday.

Dahlin was forced to leave the game with a concussion and Cernak's two-game suspension means he won't play Wednesday vs. the Blues or Friday in Washington. Cernak, who will likely be replaced by Jan Rutta tomorrow, is eligible to return Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Erik Cernak
Studnicka will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Studnicka had 18 points (9G / 9A) in 21 games with Providence (AHL) before being called-up. He will be immediately inserted into the Bruins' top-6 and centre a line with Jake DeBrusk and Charlie Coyle on his wings.
