Durzi has had a terrific start to the season in Ontario, scoring five goals with eight assists (13 points) in 12 games. Durzi replaces Austin Strand, who was with the Kings but not in the lineup. It remains to be seen if Durzi will make his NHL debut over the weekend.

Barre-Boulet has been a healthy scratch most of the time since returning from Seattle (via waivers), so he'll go to the AHL to get some playing time.

Allen will likely miss his fourth straight game on Saturday, meaning Samuel Montembeault will likely start vs. the Predators. Keeping him out on Saturday gives Allen an extra three days rest ahead of next Wednesday's game in Washington.

Doughty suffered a tibial plateau contusion on October 22nd and is three weeks into an eight-week timetable. Doughty practiced in a non-contact sweater and appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery. As of now, he remains out indefinitely.

Fleury drew into the lineup for one game, posting a minus-1 in 15:04 TOI on Thursday. Carson Soucy will replace Fleury in the lineup.

Soucy was a healthy scratch on Wednesday but will replace Haydn Fleury in the lineup on Friday. Soucy has scored two goals on 18 shots with a minus-4 rating in 10 games this season.

Lagesson has picked up two assists in 11 games with Bakersfield this season. With Darnell Nurse and slater Koekkoek both landing on IR after getting hurt on Thursday, Lagesson and Philip Broberg have been recalled to take their spots on the roster.

Moving to IR means that Koekkoek will miss at least one week with the undisclosed injury that he suffered on Thursday. William Lagesson was recalled from the AHL to take his spot on the roster.

As previously reported, Nurse is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with an undisclosed injury. Nurse and Slater Koekkoek are going on IR together, opening up roster spots for Philip Broberg and William Lagessson to be called up from the AHL.

Smith has been out since October 19th, so moving him to LTIR gives the Oilers enough cap-space to call up Philip Broberg and William Lagesson to replace Darnell Nurse and Slater Koekkoek, who went on IR. Smith is eligible to be activated whenever he is healthy.

Nurse was hurt in Thursday's win over the Jets and is expected to miss at least the Oilers last four games of November. Philip Broberg will be promoted from the AHL to help replace him.

Johnston has been a healthy scratch almost all season, so this probably doesn't change his status for this weekend's back-to-back. He joins Josh Bailey and Anders Lee on the protocol list.

Moving to the protocol list on Friday makes Lee questionable for the Islanders' back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. Lee joins Josh Bailey and Ross Johnston, so look for the Islanders to make some call-ups if they're all unavailable for the weekend.

Koekkoek left after playing just 3:29 TOI and did not return. The Oilers are recalling Philip Broberg from the AHL, suggesting that Koekkoek is going to miss some time. Look for Broberg to replace him in the lineup on Saturday, making his NHL debut.
