The Panthers signed Brian Boyle to a one-year, one-way contract.

Boyle has bounced around the NHL in recent years, playing for the Lightning, Maple Leafs, Devils and Rangers in the last three seasons. Boyle split last year between New Jersey and Nashville and finished the season with 18 goals and six assists (24 points) in 73 games. With Henrik Borgstrom going back to the AHL, Boyle figures to play a bottom-6 role with his new squad.

Brian Boyle
Elliott will start Monday vs. the Golden Knights.

Elliott allowed two goals on eight shots after replacing Carter Hart in the Flyers' blowout loss in Edmonton last Wednesday. Elliott has now given up four goals on 45 shots (.911 SV%) in two appearances this season and will make his second start of the year on Monday. The Golden Knights will roll-out their backup goalie as well but come in at 6-3-0 while averaging 3.44 goals per game (9th in the NHL).

Brian Elliott
Andersen will start Monday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Andersen allowed three goals on 46 shots in the Maple Leafs overtime win over the Bruins on Saturday. Andersen has won three straight games while stopping 95 of the 102 shots (.932 SV%) that he has faced. The 30-year-old is 3-2-0 with a 3.75 GAA and .887 SV% on home-ice this season but is a must-start against a Blue Jackets team averaging just 2.25 goals per game (29th in the NHL).

Frederik Andersen
Vorobyov has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and is expected to make his season debut on Monday.

Vorobyov has two goals and two assists (four points) in five games with the Phantoms this season. The former fourth-round pick had two points (1G / 1A) in 15 games with Philadelphia last year and is expected to make his season debut on the fourth-line.

Mikhail Vorobyev
Farabee was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut on Monday.

Farabee was one of the final cuts in training camp and one of the Flyers’ best prospects. After scoring just 15 goals in six games (2.50 GF/gm) the Flyers are looking to inject some offence into their lineup. Farabee was a first-round pick (No.14 overall) in 2018 and has registered three goals and one assist in his first four AHL games. The 19-year-old is expected to make his debut on the third line (with Kevin Hayes and Scott Laughton) and the first power-play unit.

Joel Farabee
Johnsson (leg) will play Monday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Johnson suffered a leg injury while blocking a shot in Saturday’s game against the Bruins. Johnsson was unavailable for Sunday’s practice but said he’ll be in the lineup on Monday. Johnsson has had a solid start to the season, scoring two goals with three assists (five points) in nine games while skating on a line with Auston Matthews. With 21 shots on goals, Johnsson is shooting 9.5 percent, suggesting that there are more goals on the horizon.

Andreas Johnsson
The Blue Jackets have activated Josh Anderson (upper-body) from IR; expected to play on Monday.

Anderson has missed the past six games due to an upper-body injury that he suffered on October 5th. Anderson’s return will be a huge boost to the Blue Jackets’ offence, which currently sits 29th in the NHL in goals-per-game (2.25). Anderson scored 27 goals with 20 assists (47 points) in 82 games a season ago.

Josh Anderson
The Sabres have assigned Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to Rochester (AHL).

Luukkonen is the Sabres top goaltending prospect and former second-round pick (2017). He missed the start of the 2019-20 campaign after hip surgery but is close to making his season debut. He was 38-11-2 with a 2.50 GAA and .920 SV% in 53 games with Sudbury (OHL) last year.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Little (concussion) will return to the Jets lineup on Sunday.

Little has missed the first nine games of the year but will make his season debut on Sunday. Little, who had 41 points (15G / 26A) in 82 games a season ago, will centre the Jets’ second line with Kyle Connor and Nikolaj Ehlers on his wings.
