Kampfer will draw into the Bruins lineup for Game 3.

Kampfer was a healthy scratch for the first two games of the season but will replace Connor Clifton (undisclosed) in the lineup in Game 3. Kampfer had three goals and three assists (six points) in 35 games this season.

Steve Kampfer
Krug (undisclosed) will play in Game 3.

Krug was forced to leave Game 2 after being crushed by Jake Muzzin and did not return. However, Krug was on the ice for the morning skate and is expected to be back on a pairing with Brandon Carlo and on the top power-play unit. Krug has had a solid start to the series, picking up one assist in each game.

Torey Krug
Rask will start Game 3 in Toronto.

Rask stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Bruins 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 2. Rask has played very well in the first two games of the series, stopping 59 of the 63 shots (.937 SV%) that he has faced so far. The Bruins now head to Toronto with the series tied at 1-1 and Rask comes in at 12-7-3 with a 2.65 GAA and .912 SV% on the road.

Tuukka Rask
Holtby will start Game 3 in Carolina.

Holtby allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Capitals 4-3 overtime win in Game 2. Holtby hasn't been at his best so far in this series but the Capitals still find themselves ahead 2-0. The 29-year-old had a more difficult time outside of Washington this season, going 15-10-1 with a 3.07 GAA and .903 SV% in 27 road appearances.

Braden Holtby
Rask is expected to start Game 3 in Toronto.

Tuukka Rask
The Blue Jackets have recalled Zac Dalpe from Cleveland (AHL).

Despite having a number of reserve forwards already in Columbus, it looks like Dalpe could draw into the lineup in Game 4. Dalpe would replace Brandon Dubinsky, who was banged up in Game 3. Dalpe had a strong season at the AHL level, scoring 33 goals with 22 assists (55 points) in 55 games.

Zac Dalpe
Andersen will start Game 3 vs. the Bruins.

Andersen allowed four goals on 41 shots in the Maple Leafs 4-1 loss in Boston in Game 2. The Bruins could have got to 10 goals if it weren't for Andersen, who made a number of huge saves to keep the Maple Leafs in the game. So far, he has stopped 74 of the first 79 shots (.937 SV%) that he has faced in the series. The series now shifts to Toronto, where Andersen has gone 18-10-1 with a 2.81 GAA and .916 SV% this season.

Frederik Andersen
Mrazek is expected to start Game 3 vs. the Capitals.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Hurricanes 4-3 overtime loss in Washington in Game 2. Mrazek played better in Game 2 but is now down 2-0 having allowing seven goals on 50 shots (.860 SV%) in the first two games of the series. It looks like the Hurricanes will stick with Mrazek in Game 3, and the 27-year-old comes in at 12-5-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .914 SV% in Carolina this season.

Petr Mrazek
Nutivaara (upper-body) will not play in Game 3.

Nutivaara absorbed a big hit from Nikita Kucherov towards the end of Game 2 (Kucherov was suspended one-game for the hit) and it will cost Nutivaara at least one game as well. Nutivaara was on the ice for warmups but was a late scratch, which suggests that he won't be out long term. Adam Clendening will replace him on the blueline.

Markus Nutivaara
Vasilevskiy will start Game 3 in Columbus.

Vasilevskiy surrendered five goals on 27 shots in the Lightning's 5-1 loss to the Blue Jackets in Game 2. Vasilevskiy, who could win the Vezina this season, has had a rough start to the postseason, allowing nine goals on 53 shots (.830 SV%) so far. Things will not get any easier in Game 3 as the Lightning will be without Nikita Kucherov (suspension) and Victor Hedman (injury).

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Bobrovsky will start Game 3 vs. the Lightning.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 24 shots in the Blue Jackets 5-1 victory in Tampa Bay in Game 2. Bobrovsky has a history of playing poorly in the playoffs, but so far he has stopped 49 of the 53 shots (.925 SV%) that he has faced to give the Blue Jackets a 2-0 lead. Now they return to Columbus, where Bobrovsky was 18-13-1 with a 2.73 GAA and .907 SV% in 32 appearances this season.
