Friedman, 24, was a third-round pick in 2014 (No.86 overall) and has played in just one career NHL game since then. The 5-foot-10, 192 lbs. defenseman has accumulated 10 points (2G / 8A) in 28 AHL games this season.

Silfverberg was forced to leave Tuesday’s loss to the Blue Jackets and is questionable to play Thursday. With Silfverberg not on the ice on Wednesday, Max Comtois skated in his spot and will likely play there tomorrow if he can’t go.

Strome was forced to leave Tuesday’s game with an ankle injury and will miss at least one game. He was not available for Wednesday’s practice and head coach Jeremy Colliton is unsure about a timeline but doesn’t expect it to be long-term.

With Anton Khudobin set to start Wednesday in Los Angeles, Bishop will get the second-half of the back-to-back on Thursday. In his first two games against the Golden Knights, Bishop has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.48 GAA and .917 SV%.

Klingberg will miss his second straight game on Wednesday and likely won’t play Thursday in Vegas either. With Klingberg out, Esa Lindell is expected to continue to quarterback the second power-play unit.

Khudobin allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Stars win over the Red Wings last Friday. In his last five outings (four starts), Khuodbin has gone 4-0-0 with a 1.75 GAA and .949 SV%. He has been steady all season long, even on the road, where he is 6-4-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .928 SV%. Tonight he faces a Kings team that has lost three of their last four home games while averaging 2.25 goals per game.

Frolik was acquired from the Flames last Thursday and will make his season debut a week later. Frolik skated on the second line with Marcus Johansson and Conor Sheary at Wednesday's practice and is also expected to see some penalty kill time.

Bourque remained in the lineup with Andrew Copp back in the lineup on Monday but will be replaced by Jansen Harkins tonight in Toronto.

Bobrovsky was pulled after he allowed three goals on seven shots in the Panthers loss in Buffalo on Saturday. Chris Driedger started the last two games but the Panthers will try to get Bobrovsky back on track tomorrow vs. Vancouver. Bobrovsky has allowed at least three goals in six straight games, going 3-3-0 with a hideous 4.63 GAA and .856 SV% over that stretch.

With John Klingberg dealing with a lower-body injury, Hanley was called up to travel as an extra defenseman to Los Angeles. Hanley has two points in eight NHL games and six assists in 18 AHL games this season.

Bartkowski appeared in two NHL games a season ago but has spent the entire 2019-20 season-to-date in the AHL. He has tallied one goal and 10 assists (11 points) in 36 AHL games.

Clague appeared in four games during his call-up but goes back to Ontario with Derek Forbert back with the Kings. The 21-year-old has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 27 AHL games.

Williams returns to the Hurricanes and could earn up to $1.3M with potential bonuses based on individual and team play in the regular season and playoffs. Williams is coming off of a terrific season at the age of 37, scoring 23 goals with 30 assists (53 points) in 82 games.



Rakell has missed the last six games but is expected to play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Rakell had two goals and four assists in seven games before getting hurt and will likely be back on the top line with Ryan Getzlaf on Tuesday.
