The Golden Knights have recalled Reid Duke from Chicago (AHL).

Duke, 22, was the first Golden Knight ever and he is one-step closer to his NHL debut after replacing Daniel Carr on the active roster. Duke has six goals and seven assists (13 points) in 22 games with Chicago this season.

Reid Duke
Rask will start Thursday against the Lightning.

Rask allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Bruins loss to the Red Wings last Saturday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Rask, who makes his 14th appearance of the season tonight in Tampa Bay. Rask is 2-2-2 with a 2.92 GAA and .913 SV% in six starts on the road this season. He faces the Lightning for the first time this season but was solid against them last year—3-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA, .926 SV% and one shutout.

Tuukka Rask
Anderson will start Thursday against the Canadiens.

Anderson surrendered five goals on 41 shots in the Senators loss in Montreal on Tuesday. Anderson will go again tonight in the second game of a home-and-home with the Canadiens. Home-ice has been a lot more friendly to Anderson, who is 9-4-2 with a 3.18 GAA, .916 SV% and one shutout at the Canadian Tire Centre. He is also 1-1-0 with a 3.93 GAA and .882 SV% vs. Montreal this year.

Craig Anderson
Meier (undisclosed) will be back in the Sharks lineup on Wednesday.

Meier has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury but will play tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Meier will skate on a line with Joe Thornton and Marcus Sorensen and re-enters the lineup with 13 goals and 10 assists (23 points) in 25 games.

Timo Meier
Jones will start Wednesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Jones stopped 40 of 41 shots in the Sharks win in Montreal on Sunday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Jones, who comes into Wednesday’s home-game at 6-2-2 with a 2.90 GAA and .894 SV% at SAP Center. Tonight he takes on a Hurricanes team that leads the NHL in shots per game (38.7) but 29th in goals per game (2.50).

Martin Jones
Spooner (illness) will be back in the Oilers lineup on Wednesday.

Spooner was scratched from Monday’s lineup due to an illness but will be back in the Oilers’ bottom-6 on Wednesday. Spooner has struggled during his time in Edmonton, picking up just one goal while averaging 11:25 TOI/gm in his first eight games.

Ryan Spooner
McDavid (illness) will be back in the Oilers lineup on Wednesday.

McDavid was a late scratch from Monday’s game in Dallas but will be back on the Oilers top line on Wednesday. McDavid obviously provides a massive boost to the Edmonton line as he comes into Wednesday tied for 17th in the NHL in assists (21) and tied for seventh in points (35).

Connor McDavid
Talbot will start Wednesday in St. Louis.

Talbot allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Oilers loss in Los Angeles on November 25th. Talbot played solid in his first start under new coach Ken Hitchcock. Since he was hired, Mikko Koskinen has played very well, so Talbot could see some improvement on his 3.04 GAA going forward. Tonight he takes on a Blues team that has lost eight of their last 11 (3-8-0).

Cam Talbot
DeKeyser is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a hand injury.

DeKeyser was forced to leave Tuesday’s game vs. the Lightning with a hand injury and will be sidelined until at least early-January. With DeKeyser out, Luke Witkowski is expected to dress as the Red Wings’ No.6 defenseman until either Trevor Daley is healthy or they recall another defenseman.

Dan DeKeyser
Allen starts Wednesday vs. the Oilers.

Allen allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Blues win in Colorado last Friday. Dating back to early-November, Allen has gone 3-5-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .918 SV% in eight starts and one relief appearance. Tonight he faces an Oilers team that is 4-2-1 while averaging just 2.00 goals per game under Ken Hitchcock.

Jake Allen
Talbot is expected to start Wednesday in St.

Cam Talbot
Crawford will start against the Ducks on Wednesday.

Crawford allowed three goals on 41 shots in the Blackhawks loss to the Flames on Sunday. The losing streak has now hit five games for Crawford, who has given up a combined 23 goals on 160 shots (.856 SV%) over that span. Tonight he catches a red-hot Anaheim team that has won four in a row and six of their last seven games while averaging 3.14 goals for per game.

Corey Crawford
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick stopped all 34 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. It was a great way to win his first game of the season and will hopefully get the veteran netminder back on-track. Quick has now stopped 65 of the 68 shots (.956 SV%) that he has faced since returning from his knee injury.

Jonathan Quick
Howard leads the Red Wings onto the ice for warmups.

Howard allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Red Wings win in Boston on Saturday. Howard has won his last two starts while stopping 71 of 76 shots (.934 SV%). Since October 30th, Howard is tied for fifth in wins (8), tied for seventh in SV% (.931) and 13th in GAA (2.37). Howie has been great but makes for a great sell-high candidate and should probably left on the bench with the Lightning in town.
