Playing in a Ken Hitchcock system will help Koskinen and tonight he draws a great matchup vs. the Kings.
Crawford was yanked after allowing six goals on 30 shots in the Blackhawks loss to the Golden Knights on Tuesday. Crawford has lost three straight starts while allowing a combined 14 goals on 86 shots (.837 SV%). To make matters worse, Crawford heads to Winnipeg at 1-6-0 with a 3.83 GAA and .883 SV% on the road this season.
Niku will make his season debut with Joe Morrow sidelined with a lower-body injury. It will be Niku’s second career NHL game. He has registered 59 points (17G / 42A) in 88 career AHL games, so he brings some offence to the Jets blueline.

Hill stopped all five shots that he faced after replacing Antti Raanta to preserve the Coyotes win in Minnesota on Tuesday. With Raanta and Darcy Kuemper both day-to-day, Hill will make his first start of the season. The 22-year-old came up after going 4-1-0 with a 3.22 GAA and .871 SV% in Tucson (AHL).
McLeod, 20, was the No.12 overall pick in 2016. The 6-foot-2, 188 lbs centre has not had a great season, picking up just 10 points (3G / 7A) in 21 AHL games but it was enough to earn him a call-up.

It was a brutal outing for Dubnyk, who has lost three in a row while allowing a combined 11 goals on 68 shots (.853 SV%). The 32-year-old has regressed after a great October but remains 4-3-0 with a 2.16 GAA and .925 SV% on the road this season.
