Kinkaid will start Thursday vs. the Avalanche.

Kinkaid stopped all 24 shots in the Devils shutout win over the Stars on Tuesday. Kinkaid has won his first four starts of the season while posting a stellar 1.00 GAA, .961 SV% and two shutouts. Kinkaid has been the biggest surprise of the season and is a good start against an Avalanche team that is 16-20-8 on the road dating back to last October.

Keith Kinkaid
Callahan (shoulder) is expected to make his season debut on Thursday.

Callahan has missed the first four games of the season after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery, but will be back tonight vs.the Red Wings. His return comes earlier than expected, but doesn’t bring a lot of offence to the lineup at this point in his career. Adam Erne is expected to be the healthy scratch.

Ryan Callahan
Vasilevskiy will start Thursday vs. the Red Wings.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Vasilevskiy has allowed just five goals on 101 shots (.950 SV%) through his first three starts and is a must-start vs. the Red Wings tonight. Vasilevskiy was 3-0-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .950 SV% vs. Detroit last year and the Red Wings have yet to win a game this season.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Andersen (knee) is in the starter's crease at the Maple Leafs morning skate.

Andersen allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Maple Leafs win in Washington on Saturday. Andersen was sidelined by a knee injury on Monday, but it looks like he’ll be back between the pipes tonight vs. the Penguins. Andersen has won four of his first five starts despite posting a 3.02 GAA and .899 SV%.

Frederik Andersen
Lehner will start Thursday in Los Angeles.

Lehner allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Islanders loss in Nashville on Saturday. Through two starts, Lehner has made 59 saves on 63 shots (.937 SV%) and will make his third appearance tonight in L.A. The Kings are currently tied for 28th in the NHL in scoring (2.00 GF/PG) through their first six games.

Robin Lehner
John Gibson will start against the Islanders on Wednesday.

Gibson was pulled after allowing four goals on 44 shots in the Ducks 5-3 loss to the Stars on Saturday. Gibson has been extremely busy to start the season, facing an average of 36.8 shots/60 in his first five starts. He has been equal to the task however, posting a polished 2.07 GAA and .944 SV% to go along with a 3-1-1 record.

John Gibson
Holtby will start Wednesday vs. the Rangers.

Holtby allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Capitals loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Holtby has alternated wins and losses in his first four starts of the season, allowing a combined 13 goals on 125 shots (.896 SV%). He is a great option tonight with the Rangers coming in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Braden Holtby
Greiss will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Greiss allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Islanders loss to the Predators on October 6th. Greiss has been brilliant and brutal in each of his first two starts of the season. He draws a solid road matchup against a banged up Ducks team that has struggled to score goals (2.67 GF/per game) so far this season.

Thomas Greiss
Allen will start Wednesday in Montreal.

Allen surrendered four goals on 50 shots in the Blues loss in Chicago on Saturday. Allen has just one win in his first four starts and has allowed at least three goals in every outing. Overall, he has a 4.13 GAA and .878 SV% on the season, but has a decent road matchup tonight in Montreal.
