Pionk suffered a lower-body injury in Columbus on Sunday and will be out until after the NHL All-Star break. The Rangers will be without both Pionk and Frederik Claesson for at least a few weeks, so look for Tony DeAngelo and Brendan Smith to remain in the lineup.

Khudobin gave up two goals on 22 shots in the Stars 2-1 loss in Philadelphia last Thursday. Khudobin has been great in his last four starts, going 2-2-0 with a 1.24 GAA, .963 SV% and one shutout. Khudobin could have a tough time staying hot against the NHL’s best team. However, he is 5-2-0 with a 2.25 GAA and .927 SV% on home-ice this year.

With Danny DeKeyser set to return to the Red Wings lineup on Tuesday, Rasmussen has been placed on IR so they could keep Filip Hronek on the roster. Rasmussen won’t play Tuesday and will probably remain out through Friday.

Lehner allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Islanders loss to the Rangers on Saturday. The loss snapped an impressive eight-game winning streak for Lehner, who has a 1.52 GAA and .948 SV% over that nine-game stretch. Tonight it looks like he’ll take on a Blues team that played last night but come in having won four of their last five.

Howard allowed two goals on 18 shots in the Red Wings 5-2 win over the Wild on Saturday. It was an easy night for Howie, who is 2-3-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .894 SV% in his first five starts in January. The veteran netminder will look to string a couple of wins together and draws a nice matchup with the Ducks in town—Anaheim is on an 11-game losing streak at the moment.

Korpisalo stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Washington on Saturday. Sergei Bobrovsky returned to the crease on Sunday but allowed five goals, so Korpisalo will start for the third time in four games. He has won his last three starts, stopping 83 of the 90 shots (.922 SV%) that he faced.

Varlamov allowed two goals on 30 shots in Colorado’s loss in Montreal on Saturday. Varlamov has not registered a win since December 15th, going 0-3-2 with a 3.04 GAA and .875 SV% in five games since. The 30-year-old is 6-7-1 with a 2.92 GAA and .908 SV% on the road this season and is a risky option vs. the high-powered Maple Leafs.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Dubnyk, who is 4-1-0 with a 2.60 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout in his first five starts in January. The 32-year-old comes in to Monday’s game at 9-7-0 with a 2.49 GAA, .918 SV% and one shutout on the road.
